  • Great Family Getaway

"This house was perfect for our two families that took a short getaway to the Dells. It was close enough to the dells but also was more rustic and near state beaches and hiking. Our kids did not want to leave!!! We definitely would rent this home again and the owners were wonderful!!"

  • Wonderful house and beautiful area

"The house was perfect for our 10 adults and 3 children. It is very clean and friendly! Donna and Ken have a lot of rules, but they are all common sense, and it keeps the house very clean. The pictures do not do justice to the lake. It is a beautiful place. We especially liked the golf courses and Devils Lake State Park, as well as the Noah's Ark park and Mt. Olympus. Our children took us on an anniversary dinner cruise on the Wisconsin River with steak and lobster. It was a terrific evening. I became a big Wisconsin fan."

  • A convenient inexpensive clean place to stay right in Madison

"Months in advance, this was the only property in our price range that had convenient access to campus using public transit. My son and I were visiting UW Madison, and we wanted an inexpensive pad from which yo explore the campus for a few days. This was much cheaper than the hotels on campus, and we had a kitchen (with two ovens no less!) to boot. Sure the place was a bit quirky, with floors of different heights throughout. But what do you expect for a 100 year old house. We thought it was great, and Leah was super helpful and responsive, even offering to extend our stay if necessary when a snowstorm hit home."
