  • A beautifully renovated lake home

"My family of four (2 adults, 2 young children - 3&6) met up with friends (2 adults, 2 young children - 1&3) for two nights on Lake Wisconsin. The cabin is beautiful - very clean, well maintained, very well stocked, etc. There are three small bedrooms on the first floor and an open loft on the second with three beds, so there was plenty of room. The shower is amazing. The living area is very small, and there isn't a dining table, so we ate most of our meals in shifts at the small cafe table or balanced on our knees. The loft was a bit challenging for our young kids - they had a hard time settling down because you could hear everything from the first floor. If your kid are older, this probably wouldn't be an issue. While in the area, we had brunch at Fish Tales and hiked at Devil's Lake State Park. The kids loved taking the ferry. We would love to return when there are more opportunities on the lake itself. We did enjoy having a fire with the beautiful lake view as a backdrop. Highly recommended."

  • Fantastic location for "Man Weekend"

"Went up to the Ranch with a bunch of buddies for our annual "Man Weekend". We've been doing it for years, and honestly this might be the best location yet. The house is incredible. The pictures are definitely accurate, but when you get there you'll find that it's even BIGGER than it looks in the pics. There's so much space there it's ridiculous. The deck is incredible (with gas firepit, dining table and jacuzzi), the bar room has more than enough games and activities to keep people entertained for hours, and the living/dining room was a perfect place to settle in and play cards with friends for the evening. We had about 10 people on site, and actually had to shrink the main dining table to get it sized right for the group! The grounds are beautiful and each night we enjoyed a fantastic bonfire. While we weren't riding, we did take our mountain bikes out on the horse trails. It was a perfect place to ride. It's such a massive property that we barely saw a quarter of it at best. Beyond all that, the owner was incredibly helpful and truly a gracious host. I can't find a single thing to fault with the property or the house itself. We had a blast and are definitely considering a return trip. One note worth mentioning. Cell phone reception is spotty at best. Several of us got zero reception most of the weekend. For our purposes, that wasn't a problem at all (actually a bonus!). But if you need to be accessible by phone, it's something you might want to consider. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!"

  • Great Getaway House

"We just had 25 guys at this house for my buddy's bachelor party and it was great. Pam was more than helpful and very responsive the entire way. She even went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a place to sleep and ordered PPV for us. Plenty of room both inside and outside, allows you to have fun while avoiding the stress of being too loud. I would recommend this house to any big group looking to get away and hopefully we will return again soon. Thanks again!"

  • Great way to start the New Year!!

"Our large group of friends came on New Years Day and were awed by this amazing home. The large spacious rooms were cozy and interesting in their decor. The view of the river was breathtaking. We especially enjoyed it having our morning coffee by the kitchen bay window. The kitchen has a large table that seats 12, and was fully stocked with ample dishes for all. There were two coffee pots as well as other extra amenities. It accommodated us with so many bedrooms and three bathrooms. In the evening we enjoyed conversation around the cozy stone fireplace, (fire wood supplied) then watched DVD'S also supplied by the owners. Some of us played ping pong while others played foosball and air hockey while waiting their turn at the ping pong challenge. We also took long walks and tossed a football in the yard. The owners were great to work with and went out of their way to insure that we had everything we needed. We all vowed to come back in the summer so we can enjoy boating and summer activities. What a great way this was to start the New Year!!"
