  • Home away from Home

"We stayed at this cozy and secluded cabin the first week of August. We were first impressed by the well-kept grounds. We first entered into a lovely screened-in porch which became my scrapbooking area for the week. The cabin was extremely clean with all the amenities you need. We were very excited to see the bar amenities along with storage containers for left overs (sometimes the little things make a difference). Eating our meals on the large deck overlooking the water was a real treat. Had a blast during the day tubing on the lake and going to the sand bar. The fishing wasn’t bad either with my son catching a 24inch walleye and husband bringing home several more walleye keepers. The camp fires were great at night without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. We would definitely recommend this cabin."

  • Renewal at Rocky Glen

"Absolutely fell in love with the setting, nestled among the trees, creating a peaceful environment. The outdoor views plus the fireplace enticed us to eat in. We treated ourselves to Wisconsin cheese and sausage we picked up at Carr Valley Cheese, and the most delicious veggies we found at the Baraboo farmers market. We got in our planned hiking in Devil's Lake, but found so much more to enjoy in the area."

  • Great Family Getaway

"This house was perfect for our two families that took a short getaway to the Dells. It was close enough to the dells but also was more rustic and near state beaches and hiking. Our kids did not want to leave!!! We definitely would rent this home again and the owners were wonderful!!"

  • Peaceful retreat

"We really enjoyed our stay. It is so peaceful sitting out on the deck and enjoying the sounds of the birds chirping. We sat out on the deck in the mornings and again in the evenings for grilling. Bugs were not an issue. The house was set up nice and was plenty of room for 2 couples. Lots to do and see in the area. A must while in the area is to go to Devil's Head State Park and Circus World Museum. Go out for the day and come back and enjoy the deck in the evening!!! We made breakfast in the AM and grilled in the evening so unsure of restaurants in the area. There is a great meat market in Baraboo that has everything you need for grilling. We do recommend this property and hope to get back to the area again in the near future."

Lake Wisconsin resorts provide easy access to the beach at Devil's Lake, where you can swim and take part in a variety of recreational opportunities. You're also near the Baraboo Mountain Range and Devil's Lake State Park. You can go cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, boating, and hunting. If you love to fish, you'll definitely want to head to Lake Wisconsin. Also, Parfrey's Glen is in the southern part of the Baraboo Mountain Range and is home to a wide variety of rare or endangered plants, insects, and birds.
