"We stayed here with another family (4 adults, 4 kids total) over Labor Day Weekend. Our families were very comfortable in this home - it was clean and well-maintained. Kathy checked in on us via text throughout the weekend and was extremely helpful in getting us a replacement pontoon boat after hers was wrecked the day before we were to use it. The weekend was fun and relaxing - with most everything we could need. (I think the description mentions a crock pot, but we couldn't find it. Luckily, we brought one with us, just in case.) We used the grill for steaks and fire pit for s'mores. We would visit again!"Guest: Emily W. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 11, 2014View listing
"We just spent a long weekend at this home rental. There was lots of space... especially in the basement. Very clean with ample basic needs. Tried fishing with only a couple bites. We spent a lot of time outside with the kids/grandkids. There are two parks nearby; within walking distance. We went to the corn maze near Poynette, which was also lots of fun for adults and kids. Sunsets on the water were beautiful. Enjoyed a campfire one night. Our get-away was short notice because we hadn't heard back from another one we were interested in. The owner here was quick in responding and working out the arrangements. I would recommend this to others!"Guest: Deanna F. "We rented Daves place the first part of September and had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and with 2 separate decks overlooking the lake there was no end to great views. The ferry is just down the lake a bit and is a lot of fun to just ride on (7 minutes) to get to the other side and have some ice cream (plus it's free...the ferry, not the ice cream!). Being near to the Dells without being in the Dells was a plus (we went zip-lining). Local wineries are there also plus the lake itself. Dave was very accommodating and friendly. Will we be back? You bet."Guest: rc Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 18, 2014View listing
"First of all, I am conflicted in writing this review as it may make their calendar too full with other renters but I guess I'll take the risk. This cottage totally brought back memories of childhood for both me and my wife. Going swimming, catching fireflies, having a campfire; All in the prettiest little cottage that is actually surprisingly roomy. The view from the pier is beautiful. While we did not take advantage of renting a boat we did spend a bunch of time in the water and it was super fun. Connie and Ross have thought of everything and even brought over some lawn toys for us to play with our daughter. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had plenty of room. We could have easily slept 6 with the included futon. We made use of the gas grill for both nights and it worked fine on our brats and burgers. We brought some dvd's for late night movies and they played great on the included flat screen. Piggly Wiggly is a couple miles away so stop there first and then you don't need to head back out after you arrive. We're looking forward to spending time there next year and for years to come. Highly recommended."Guest: Jeff R. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 25, 2014View listing
