"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We were immediately greeted by Ron, the property manager, who always had a smile on his face. The owner stayed next door one night during our stay and visited. Great place to relax yet enjoy everything nearby. Wonderful place, wonderful people, great place to recharge and enjoy time with the person or people you love. Will definitely return; still on the fence whether we will bring children next time. If you want a vacation where you can recharge and not wear a watch, this is the place."

"Beautiful trees surround this little cottage. You walk out and you're staring at the lake and birds are chirping and the squirrels are moving around. The owners were real nice and didn't bother us at all. The cottage is real comfortable and peaceful. The owners let us use their kayaks and there is a paddle boat to go out on the lake.
Thank you very much! We would go again!
Couple of suggestions for future travelers:
Shop for groceries beforehand as there are no grocery stores close by. There is a Walmart super store in Bariboo which is 1/2 hr away.
Cottage needs a kettle for boiling water and the pots and pans are real old/basic. The basic stuff like sauces, oil, butter, coffee, tea, etc are not provided so bring your own. The only thing provided is salt/pepper and plain white sugar.
Thursdays are "Mowing lawn day" which means at all time you can hear a lawn mower buzzing around which disturbs the peace. If you're going to be there over a Thursday, plan on a day trip else where. Unfortunately we had plan our stay in day as Thursday."

"We had a wonderfully relaxing time in this cozy, peaceful space. Close to Devil's Lake, Parfrey's Glen, Merrimac Ferry, etc. - for full outdoor enjoyment, but tucked away from any crowds. Lesleigh made us feel so welcome and clearly takes great care to prepare her home to serve as a place for relaxation (essential oils throughout, healthy staples in the well-appointed kitchen, eclectic CDs, etc.). It was such a gift to be able to bring our dog along, which made hiking all the more enjoyable. A couple caveats ... The condo is on the 2nd floor and the stairs could challenge someone with mobility issues. This is the "country", so grocery shopping and restaurants require a little (but beautiful) drive. All around, a highly recommended rental."
