  • Perfect for quick get away

"Met up here as a halfway point for friends & family between Minnesota & Chicago. Place worked out great, 4 bedrooms with an additional loft. Perfect location between Devil's Head & The Dells. Baraboo is a cute little town as well with a few attractions. It would be neat to see what it's like during the summer months."

  • Wonderful house and beautiful area

"The house was perfect for our 10 adults and 3 children. It is very clean and friendly! Donna and Ken have a lot of rules, but they are all common sense, and it keeps the house very clean. The pictures do not do justice to the lake. It is a beautiful place. We especially liked the golf courses and Devils Lake State Park, as well as the Noah's Ark park and Mt. Olympus. Our children took us on an anniversary dinner cruise on the Wisconsin River with steak and lobster. It was a terrific evening. I became a big Wisconsin fan."

  • Labor Day Weekend Fun

"We stayed here with another family (4 adults, 4 kids total) over Labor Day Weekend. Our families were very comfortable in this home - it was clean and well-maintained. Kathy checked in on us via text throughout the weekend and was extremely helpful in getting us a replacement pontoon boat after hers was wrecked the day before we were to use it. The weekend was fun and relaxing - with most everything we could need. (I think the description mentions a crock pot, but we couldn't find it. Luckily, we brought one with us, just in case.) We used the grill for steaks and fire pit for s'mores. We would visit again!"

  • Great experience in a well equipped cabin!

"If your idea of fun is vacationing on the edge of a lake and hearing the water waves lapping at the rocks on the bank as you sleep, look no further. This resort is like a hidden gem. The photos of this place do not do it justice. The owner, Frank, is very friendly and helpful. He is available when needed but does not hang around and make a pest of himself. Thanks for being such a good host, Frank. The 3 levels of the boathouse allow the guests to view the beautiful Kegonsa lake. Our extended family spent 6 nights in the boathouse and never felt crowded yet were able to hang out all together in the living room with a place for everyone to sit. We were also able to seat 8 at the dining room table the night we had guests over for dinner. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances work well. If I had to make a suggestion the only recommendation would be to possibly use some type of "black out" drapes in the living room as the closed mini-blinds do very little to hold back the heat in the morning. However, we were not hindered at all by this. Thanks for making this rental available. Our family enjoyed our stay immensely and will be returning. Thanks"
