"This quiet, charming apartment was my haven during a 16-day conference at the University. A car is needed to get around from this location to the center of Madison, but there are plenty of cool areas walking/biking distance. There are bike rentals at a station nearby. "Willy St" or Williamson Street, is full of shops, eclectic restaurants, and my favorite spot, PaintBar. Leah, the owner, was wonderful at answering my texts/emails and assisting me as needed. I loved the full kitchen, desk area, and bedroom. I also ate some meals out in the covered porch, as well as have my morning coffee and listen to the birds. This is my home away from home and I would definitely re-book if I come to Madison again next summer!"

"A beautiful and well appointed property! So nice to have not only comfortable and modern accommodations, but also the peace of mind to not have to buy coffee, laundry detergent, shampoo, and other creature comforts during our stay. The owners go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction!"

"This was a great home--we had a family reunion with my family of four, my grandmother age 87, my aunt, my parents, and my sister with her son (10 persons in all)! The house was clean, well stocked (Kitchen had coffee maker, stove, dishes, cooking goods, etc), even had a lot of outdoor/lawn toys for the kiddos, and sat on a beautiful landscape. The pictures don't do the view justice, but also don't show all of the stairs (my 87 year old grandmother did struggle with the stairs inside the house, as well as outside). Still, we had a great time and would highly recommend!"

"Beautiful trees surround this little cottage. You walk out and you're staring at the lake and birds are chirping and the squirrels are moving around. The owners were real nice and didn't bother us at all. The cottage is real comfortable and peaceful. The owners let us use their kayaks and there is a paddle boat to go out on the lake.
Thank you very much! We would go again!
Couple of suggestions for future travelers:
Shop for groceries beforehand as there are no grocery stores close by. There is a Walmart super store in Bariboo which is 1/2 hr away.
Cottage needs a kettle for boiling water and the pots and pans are real old/basic. The basic stuff like sauces, oil, butter, coffee, tea, etc are not provided so bring your own. The only thing provided is salt/pepper and plain white sugar.
Thursdays are "Mowing lawn day" which means at all time you can hear a lawn mower buzzing around which disturbs the peace. If you're going to be there over a Thursday, plan on a day trip else where. Unfortunately we had plan our stay in day as Thursday."
