  • Amazing stay!

"I am not usually someone who writes online reviews, but my experience was so great I just needed to share! Rod was incredibly helpful and communicative-- the condo is beautiful, and bigger than the pictures would suggest. It was very clean and comfortable-- highly recommended! If I ever visit the area again, I will definitely be returning =]"

  • Beautiful Lakefront Property - Highly Reommend!!!

"The property is stunning! First class all the way, the pictures and description don't do it justice. The house comfortably slept our large group with everyone having a bed. Located about 1h30m from Chicago, this is a great getaway for a weekend trip! Like all the previous reviews, the house comes with everything you can ever imagine or think of. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with a natural gas grill located on the screened in porch. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone and already looking forward to our next stay at Grande Vista Manor!!!"

  • Better than we had hoped for.

"This is a great house for extended family or friends. Multiple gathering spots inside + out. The house is lived in & comfortable. Bohemian chic. Lots of interesting art, musical instruments, games, books and comfortable furniture. Reasonably child-resistant. Excellent customer service. The owner answered the phone in 3 rings. No voice mail. Good Internet connectivity and a secluded basement room where two of us could do a little remote work. Plenty of bathrooms and bathing options. The steam-shower has an in ground tub at the back. Every single day someone in our group makes fun of the guy who complained about it. There is a big jacuzzi tub big enough for a small family or a big couple. It's in the central bathroom for access by all. Great floor plan, with bedrooms at the back of the house for napping kids or grandparents. The bedrooms are serviceable, with a TV in each one. Not Hilton-glamorous, but Quaker clean and comfortable. The dock is easy to get to, the steps and dock are in good repair. The water is clean and great for swimming. Lots of life jackets and water toys available. This is a rustic, lived in property, with nothing of substance to complain about. If you want spit and polish like at the Hilton, go to the Hilton. If you want to relax with your kids and grandkids and see every one play and have a great time, this is the place to come."

  • Exceeded Expectations

"My wife, 3 yr old, and 8 week old stayed here over Labor Day weekend. It was fantastic -- the place was extremely clean, nicely decorated, open, and comfortable. We'll certainly stay here again."
