"The accommodations were beautiful! Lots of stairs but there was an elevator for my 91 year old mother. The 3 levels and outside space never made our large group feel crowded. The docks provided great fishing and swimming. Things that prevented me from giving 5 stars. 2 of the 3 blow up mattresses did not stay inflated, ran out of toilet paper. Up stairs oven needed to be cleaned. Dishwasher up stairs did not clean the dishes. These things did not affect the wonderful weekend we had, but I feel they are worth mentioning for the next renter."

"This is a great house for extended family or friends. Multiple gathering spots inside + out.
The house is lived in & comfortable. Bohemian chic. Lots of interesting art, musical instruments, games, books and comfortable furniture. Reasonably child-resistant.
Excellent customer service. The owner answered the phone in 3 rings. No voice mail.
Good Internet connectivity and a secluded basement room where two of us could do a little remote work.
Plenty of bathrooms and bathing options. The steam-shower has an in ground tub at the back. Every single day someone in our group makes fun of the guy who complained about it. There is a big jacuzzi tub big enough for a small family or a big couple. It's in the central bathroom for access by all.
Great floor plan, with bedrooms at the back of the house for napping kids or grandparents. The bedrooms are serviceable, with a TV in each one. Not Hilton-glamorous, but Quaker clean and comfortable.
The dock is easy to get to, the steps and dock are in good repair. The water is clean and great for swimming. Lots of life jackets and water toys available.
This is a rustic, lived in property, with nothing of substance to complain about. If you want spit and polish like at the Hilton, go to the Hilton. If you want to relax with your kids and grandkids and see every one play and have a great time, this is the place to come."

"This was my first time renting a vacation rental. I usually like to do the high end hotel thing. the owner was very nice and informative throughout the whole experience. She even sent me websites to things to do in the area and explained the ski show schedule. I was worried we wouldn't have something that we needed in the kitchen or to occupy the kids, but it was exactly like she said it would be. The house was real clean and comfoortable. I think this was one of the nicest vacations we have had as a family. Grandma and Grandpa got to come and so did our little dog. My daughter loved the toys and puzzles that were at the house and the shallow water was perfect for a 4 year old. We wanted to make our trip longer but the house was all booked up. We will make sure to book early next year if we can get the time off work. A nice experience, indeed."

"Rented the house again last weekend for the 2nd time! Many upgrades made to the house since last year and they are great improvements. There is new granite in the kitchen, new faucet and dish washer. Great kitchen for cooking and entertaining. House is always so clean and plenty of room and nice bedrooms for a group of friends to get away and hang out. Vince is outstanding to work with, friendly and flexible. We love the house. Thanks again Vince!!"
