  • Better than we had hoped for.

"This is a great house for extended family or friends. Multiple gathering spots inside + out. The house is lived in & comfortable. Bohemian chic. Lots of interesting art, musical instruments, games, books and comfortable furniture. Reasonably child-resistant. Excellent customer service. The owner answered the phone in 3 rings. No voice mail. Good Internet connectivity and a secluded basement room where two of us could do a little remote work. Plenty of bathrooms and bathing options. The steam-shower has an in ground tub at the back. Every single day someone in our group makes fun of the guy who complained about it. There is a big jacuzzi tub big enough for a small family or a big couple. It's in the central bathroom for access by all. Great floor plan, with bedrooms at the back of the house for napping kids or grandparents. The bedrooms are serviceable, with a TV in each one. Not Hilton-glamorous, but Quaker clean and comfortable. The dock is easy to get to, the steps and dock are in good repair. The water is clean and great for swimming. Lots of life jackets and water toys available. This is a rustic, lived in property, with nothing of substance to complain about. If you want spit and polish like at the Hilton, go to the Hilton. If you want to relax with your kids and grandkids and see every one play and have a great time, this is the place to come."

  • Amazing Getaway!

"This was the perfect outdoor getaway from city life! Beautiful house on tons of land with grass and fields. Lots of room for kids to run around and explore. Relaxing fire pit and swing with an amazing view. The house was very well stocked. Great location to use the hiking trails in the Kettle Morriane state park. Thanks for letting us stay! Definitely looking forward to coming back!"

"What a spectacular home! It has everything you need and is very clean. The 5 bedrooms are spacious and there are 4 full bathrooms. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook for your family and friends. The boat house is a great gathering place. The older kids used it to sleep in. They loved it! We rented a pontoon and wave runner right from Uncle Eds who is on Powers lake and made using the homes pier a perfect situation. I do not have a negative thing to say. An absolutely great vacation and family reunion . THANK YOU"

  • Location! Location! Location!

"Turn the key and let the vacation begin! It’s like coming home to mom and dads! Okay, I have to admit every review 5 stars? Hmmm…I’m a believer!!!! The owner is so gracious and accommodating! A pleasure to work with! The home has everything you could possibly need - a virtual treasure trove of nooks and crannies. When we arrived it was spotless! It is evident that the cleaning crew gives the home that extra TLC to make your stay all the more relaxing. There is a bedroom perched in a cedar tree that looks right over the lake. Even a lightening storm didn't dampen our stay but enhanced our visit with a majestic show! Crystal clear water - stunning 180 degree lake views. If you can take your eyes off the lake, there is great Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV with more than ample cable channels and a beautiful wood burning fireplace. Forgot something? No worries the local grocery has fresh produce and even has a gluten free section. The privacy makes you feel as if you are in the north woods. The most organized lake home we have ever stayed in! Thank you!"
