"This was a sisters weekend, there was 8 of us, and all were very satisfied with the location, the cleanliness and how well stocked it was. The only thing it said was a view of the lake, if you wanted a view of the lake you would need to stand in the corner of the deck & stretch neck out. If we was traveling with children it would also be great for them, it was stocked with a stroller and many toys. No complaints at all."

"We were a group of 12 over New Year's and everyone was very comfortable. This one of a kind dream log home is truly turn-key. It has all the amenities you could want to enjoy a long monthly vacation or easy one week getaway. The high beam ceiling, natural stone fireplace and open stair create the spectacular "wow" when you first step in. The kitchen is very spacious and accommodating for large gatherings. One bedroom has a ladder up to a loft which the kids think is really cool. The five full bedrooms and four full bathrooms allow everyone their own comfortable and quiet place to retreat. The home is impeccably clean and well cared for. Adults and kids can enjoy the pool table, dart board, big screen TV or simply relax on big tree swing that overlooks the lake. I like taking walks along the pathway around the lake. Another unique feature on this property is the awesome boathouse that offers another area to have fun and watch those sunset views on Powers lake. There are many year round activities to be enjoyed by all. I can't think of anything I would change about this very special vacation home. I absolutely love coming here."

"From the moment we stepped onto the property we were enchanted by the quiet and cozy atmosphere. It was neat and clean, the shower was hot, and the heater worked during a very cold spell of -10 F (less windchill), brrrrr. I'm from Wisconsin, but have lived in Florida my entire life so I was hoping to share my precious memories of Wisconsin in the winter with my wife. She absolutely loved it! In fact, we both want to live in Wisconsin now. It was glorious. We were concerned, because we didn't want to make this review too good thinking wait, what if everybody would want to come here! We might not be able to get an opening on the calendar, but we had such a beautiful time and couldn't bring ourselves to be so shallow. It was just what it said in the description, COZY and HOMEY! My one complaint was that it was not very easy to find, but then again, we didn't want to be found or disturbed. The owner, Bob, was very accomodating. I had a business meeting online where I needed internet access and although he did not have internet, he arranged for us to have it! I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. We ate at this cute place called the Elegant Farmer, great muffins, but be careful I gained 10 lbs.! Not too far away was this neat Italian place with the best food, That's Amore. Great sugo!! A little drive, but close enough. The frozen lake was a virtual playground for our 6 lb. Pomeranian, as she had the time of her life running around in her snow suit. All the appliances worked and we woke up to a white winter wonderland and a view of Lake Tichigan. All this being said, stay the heck away as we will be returning frequently. But seriously, may you have the same quality of experience we did."

"8 of my closest friends and I wanted a place to hang out for the weekend. Play bags, BBQ, sit around and not do much at all. We have stayed in Wisconsin now for a few years running and this was the nicest house we stayed in. Great ping pong table, TVs in all the right places, HUGE yard on the water. I would recommend this place for any large group to stay."
