  • Ideal

"4 friends and I of the 55+ group had a great time experiencing the SE WI area while staying at this wonderful retreat. The owners were prompt and accommodating to help us have a 'not-a-care-in-the-world vacation'. The accommodations were clean with a very functional kitchen and beautiful, comfortable furniture. What you see in the pictures is what you get."

  • Perfect for Book Group

"My book group from the Chicago area has spent a long weekend in this beautiful, charming, Victorian-style home for the past three years. It is the perfect setting and location for a weekend getaway; and already we are talking about next year. There are nine women in our group and the house easily accommodates us. We have found ample dining options in Oconomowoc and nearby towns of Delafield, Pewaukee and Okauchee. In the past, we have biked the Glacial-Drumlin State Trail, visited the Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago during apple-picking season, shopped the quaint downtown of Delafield and traveled to nearby farm stands for fresh produce. When the weather cooperates, our group thoroughly enjoys kayaking on the chain of lakes or just sitting on the deck visiting and taking in the beauty of the lake and enjoying the serenity. The kitchen is well appointed so we have cooked some of our meals together. The dining room is spacious and easily accommodates our group. We have had some great nights playing games around the dining room table, too. We usually hold our book group meeting in the living room with a fire going in the fireplace--a cozy room that invites great conversation. The house is very well maintained and very clean. During our most recent stay, the weather was unseasonably chilly and we discovered the furnace was not working. We called the property manager and that same night a furnace repairman arrived to diagnose the problem. The replacement part needed was not available until the next day so the owner had space heaters delivered to keep us warm. Of course, there were plenty of quilts and blankets in the house to keep us warm, too. Both the property manager and owner could not have been more responsive and accommodating. We look forward to our next visit!"

  • The Lake House was a perfect getaway

"Our family had an incredible time at The Lake House. We enjoyed having our boat on the lake, spending time at the beach and pool and being close to downtown Lake Geneva. The house was perfect for our family with lots of space, private bathrooms to each bedroom, front and back patio and a beautiful view of the lake. Our hosts were extremely gracious and we look forward to coming back next year."
