"This home is beautiful! We rented it for two weeks and loved every minute (once our thighs adjusted to the many stairs leading to the lake!) The log home is spacious and comfortable and the sun room in the main house, the lower level game area, and the separate boathouse provided perfect spaces particularly on rainy days (we had a few major storms during our stay). The house had 2 kayaks which we made excellent use of during no-wake hours on the lake before 10 a.m. or after dusk. There is also a paddle boat. The kids loved swimming and fishing off the pier (shallow, clear water), and the many sizes of boat shoes in the boat house were a welcome relief from the rocky bottom. The lake gets very busy on the weekends and it's patrolled. Both my nephews got tickets for having their jet skis too close to each other during peak time on the lake (you must maintain 100 feet, which gets a little tricky when it's crowded--pay attention--they don't cut you any slack and the tickets are $110 each). Lots of parking in front and a large yard for all sorts of games. The water in the main house showers smells like sulphur, but there's a water cooler for drinking/cooking. We had to call to get more water delivered from Culligan. There's only one recycling bin on the property and it was full when we arrived and the pick-up is every two weeks so we left it full for the next guests (sorry!). The house is well provisioned for a one-week stay, but if you're there longer, you'll probably need to bring/buy extra garbage bags; dish, dishwasher and laundry soap, bleach, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Lots of near-by shopping though. The large kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you could need. The gas stove might have a little leak--it smelled like gas even when the burners were off. There's a small beverage fridge in the boathouse but there's no bathroom down there so be prepared to do some stair climbing to find relief! You'll find lots of treasures in the lower boathouse--there are extra dock chairs, umbrellas, tables, floats, toys, tools--just about everything you might need/want. This house and grounds were fantastic and we created some truly spectacular memories with our family. We loved our stay at Rustic Waters and look forward to coming back for another visit."

"There were seven of us at this lovely place. The owner is very kind and responsive. The house has a cozy, family feel to it. We walked in and felt immediately at home. It was such a treat to be on Lauderdale Lake. Clean, large, quiet. Our grandchildren love to swim and spent many happy hours jumping off the pier into the deep clean water. They even swam on rainy days. They did get out of the water for meals and the one time when lightning flashed and we insisted that they come inside! We had a wonderful time in this comfortable house with an interesting history."

"This home is one of the nicest places we have ever been too. My husband,4 boys, dog, and I decided on a ski weekend and we picked the perfect place. It was spotless ,well equipped, very comfortable and truly had a Pottery Barn look and feel. The owner was very informative and attentive to all our needs . We already booked our next stay !"

"When at last we thought we were doomed for our plans for our weekend away. When to our rescue were two perfectly sweet accommodating souls (whom we did not know) came to our rescue. When the other home we rented had fallen to water damage the morning we were to leave we were in a panic. We would like to Thank Julie and Greg for the last minute rush to rent us their beautiful Home in Delavan Wi. Much to our surprise it was so much nicer than the previous home we rent often. Julie and Greg's' home was delightful. The amenities are above what you would expect, clean well maintained and the ceiling well there are no words you must see it for yourself (exquisite)! It is a beautiful place so clean and comfortable. Granted we were there in the winter and did not use any of the amenities outside which look like it could be a lot of fun but the inside décor is lovely. The welcoming fire place was romantically warming and provided us with everything we needed to have a perfectly wonderful weekend. I almost hate to put such a great review (hoping to keep it to ourselves LOL!) but they deserve it. You will not be disappointed. We will return hopefully often it was the nicest place we have stayed with in the area. Now this maybe the weekend place for our little escapes from reality. Hallelujah!
All the best to you.
