"My review is late, I apologize. My mom, her friends, my sister, and our friends spent a long weekend at this property last Labor Day weekend (8/2013). We had the best time! Thank you Jan and John for opening your home to us! This house is absolutely gorgeous with the perfect location on the lake and to town. We ate dinner in town one night at an Italian restaurant and the next night we went into downtown lake Geneva. There is so much space in this home it's perfect for large groups! The kitchen also had everything you we need; It felt like home! Thank you again! We hope to be back one day!"

"This home is one of the nicest places we have ever been too. My husband,4 boys, dog, and I decided on a ski weekend and we picked the perfect place. It was spotless ,well equipped, very comfortable and truly had a Pottery Barn look and feel. The owner was very informative and attentive to all our needs . We already booked our next stay !"

"If you're browsing through page after page of Lake Geneva rentals, look no further. I recently brought a group of my closest girl friends to this cabin and it was one of the most terrific weekend trips I've ever had. The property is nestled into a beautiful, rustic location. It's in a very quaint, residential part of town. The cabin itself is quite expansive, with just the right amount of room to host a large group without feeling on top of one another. The kitchen and dining room were large enough to accommodate our party, as was the entire upstairs which has most of the bedrooms. My favorite part of staying at the Under the Oaks Log Home was the back deck and yard. Beautifully landscaped and a perfect spot for grilling and having a cocktail in the sun. It's absolutely fantastic--photos alone cannot do it justice. A major thank you to Nancy, who was terrific to work with. I had one question on the trip--and she was able to take my call immediately. We look forward to staying here again!"

"Families-- 10 adults and 6 children-- from four states converged on this superb vacation rental for a week of sheer fun. The house, which sits on the most stunning piece of property on the entire lake, was a perfect fit for all of us-- big enough that we had plenty of room to sprawl out without feeling crowded. We took advantage of every amenity-- the kayaks, bikes, games, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, air hockey, ping pong, etc. We played and lounged on the lawn and patio, but mostly used the pontoon boat (for an extra fee) every day, often towing the kids on the "hotdog" and water tube. The house has a well-equipped, large kitchen and a second refrigerator downstairs. The only issue groups might have is determining who gets the spacious master bedroom with the balcony overlooking the lake. Yes, this house is expensive to rent-- but it's worth it. We look forward to returning here for our next reunion."
