  • great vacation, great host

"We rented the house last October, when the autumn colors were just starting to show. The house itself is lovely, has a warm home-like feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were 2 couples and a baby and it was perfect, because the baby got a separate room. We enjoyed the pool table. Basically just lazying about in the living room in the evening was a lot of fun , and probably is even better when it's snowing outside. The grounds were lovely, although it was too cold to actually sit outside. Have us a feeling of being out in the nature, which was a lot of fun. 15 min drive or less to the town of Lake Geneva, and a little less to the grocery store. Linda, the owner, was absolutely great, accommodating and helpful, more than we could have hoped for. For us, knowing that we're renting from someone we can trust is really important. We would absolutely come back if we had the chance. A great house for a weekend getaway."

  • Nice location & clean

"This was a sisters weekend, there was 8 of us, and all were very satisfied with the location, the cleanliness and how well stocked it was. The only thing it said was a view of the lake, if you wanted a view of the lake you would need to stand in the corner of the deck & stretch neck out. If we was traveling with children it would also be great for them, it was stocked with a stroller and many toys. No complaints at all."

  • Perfect for a Girls' Getaway Weekend

"We were looking for a place to host a girls’ getaway weekend. The catch? We needed to find a place to accommodate 14 of us on Friday night and 19 of us on Saturday night. Finding the Nautical Homes was like winning the lottery! First off, the reservation process itself was seamless. Debi, the owner, was great. Quick to respond to voicemails and emails and very personable. No issues with billing and she provides a “Bible” of the homes prior to your arrival. It give you all the info you need to know regarding getting in, what’s stocked in the homes, how to work the heat, information on local attractions, etc. She requests you call once you arrive to ensure everything is as you expected it to be. She also responded to my call on Saturday when I thought there may have been an issue with the heat in one of the homes. She walked me through what to check out via telephone but before we knew it, a gentleman arrived to inspect it in person. Customer service at its finest! The homes? Gorgeous historic homes in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva, walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the lake itself. Too many bedrooms (and beds!) to count! Ample living space, dining room space and bathrooms for our group. We could spread out and enjoy board games, movies, quiet time, etc. Linens, extra blankets and towels are all provided, which was really nice. The homes are next door to each other and just a short walk across the driveway separates them, making this arrangement perfect for our large group. We never felt crowded or on top of each other and had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. (Even room for a dance floor when we moved some furniture out of the way!!) We are already talking about making this an annual getaway weekend and without hesitation would rent the Nautical Homes again. Thanks again, Debi, for everything!"
