"Our group of women spent a wonderful 3 days here. The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining table comfortably holds 10-12 people. The house was spotless and ready for us and there are many comfy chairs outside to enjoy the lovely view of the lake. The property is just beautiful. We would have liked more specific directions on turning on the heat upstairs. The living room is small for a gathering place (it's an old but very nicely updated and well cared for home) but a few more comfortable chairs (maybe portable) would have been nice. We spent a morning in Oconomowoc, which is a charming little town, and a lot of time sitting outside enjoying the weather and the lake view. We would love to return."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, which is really a very cozy home and fully equipped. The owners are very accommodating and helpful, and the price is excellent for the area. The lake was perfect just like the weather for our ten day stay. Fishing was a bit slow, but it was still fun to be out in the boat provided or to just sit on the pier to fish. Having two grills to choose from was an extra plus. Burlington is a very nice town, quite scenic, with a lot to offer, or you can just relax & enjoy the cottage. We did bicycle the Seven Waters bike trail down the street from Riverside Park, which is a free and very peaceful activity. Thank you again Neal and Marilyn, for providing this homey retreat. We hope to return again in the future to enjoy another "quiet time" on Brown's Lake!"

"This year was our second time renting the house for a retreat for our music ministry and we had an awesome time! The home is spacious and well stocked with everything you need for a fun and enjoyable weekend. The space is so comfortable and inviting. The only time we left was to get groceries from the store nearby. We hope to check it out in the summer so we can get out on the lake. This is a great place to host a large group."

"This was my first time renting a vacation rental. I usually like to do the high end hotel thing. the owner was very nice and informative throughout the whole experience. She even sent me websites to things to do in the area and explained the ski show schedule. I was worried we wouldn't have something that we needed in the kitchen or to occupy the kids, but it was exactly like she said it would be. The house was real clean and comfoortable. I think this was one of the nicest vacations we have had as a family. Grandma and Grandpa got to come and so did our little dog. My daughter loved the toys and puzzles that were at the house and the shallow water was perfect for a 4 year old. We wanted to make our trip longer but the house was all booked up. We will make sure to book early next year if we can get the time off work. A nice experience, indeed."
