  • Perfect Wisconsin Lake Family Vacation

"A delightful week! For the ten of us, 8 adults and 2 children, this beautiful home set on a lovely lake was more than we expected! The comfortable large bedrooms and the large updated private baths for each were appreciated by everyone. The common areas were light, airy, and ample, and our family was able to eat together inside and out!! Fully equipped with all kitchen items, serving pieces, dishes, and supplies, the home lacked nothing we needed. We were encouraged to help ourselves to the garden produce, lettuce and spinach, obviously, a great bonus! The pool was an extra treat, but the lake offered hours of relaxation and fun, swimming, kayaking, canoeing!! The grounds were lovingly cared for, very large, with a great lake front, a most relaxing setting, without a doubt, a place to build memories for all of us! Kudos also to John and his dog Tucker who were available to answer any questions we had. The only bad part was that week was over -- with all of us agreeing: "Let's come back here again!!""

  • Loved it here!~

"The pictures just don't do this place justice. I really enjoyed saying here. I enjoyed the house, the bonfire pit, everything was included. Rooms were huge, and furniture was clean and nice. We rented the Pontoon for an extra $500 for 4 days. The yard to water doesn't have a lot of steep stairs, so it was good for the father in law who had trouble walking. I'd like to bring my dogs next time. We'll be back for sure!"

  • We felt like special guests at this lovely home!

"We were very fortunate to find this one of a kind home for our family vacation. The house was immaculate, yet homey. And the pontoon boat for rent was a very convenient addition to a perfect time. My elderly parents fully enjoyed the beautiful wrap around porch. It was gorgeous from every direction. They also made full use of the elevator lift to go upstairs. My children (in their 20's) loved taking the boat around the lake. We had a wonderful time at every turn. We have rented many vacation homes over the years, and this one is at the top of our list. Besides having everything you could possibly want, Don and Connie made our feel like very special guests in their home. It was the little extra touches that made this experience just that much better......the freshly cut vases of flowers in the dining room and kitchen, the cold pitcher of lemon water waiting for us in the fridge, the personal welcome when we arrived.....all very lovely. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. A truly special place that will be a big part of making any vacation great!"

  • Madison Family Totally Enjoys Stay

"This was our first venture into the VRBO world so we were a little anxious until we arrived. WOW!! This Victorian Lake Home was all it was supposed to be and more. The house is fabulous, the view is awesome, and the surroundings are terrific from the spacious grass areas, the firepit, play areas for children and, of course, the dock on Lake Nashotah. Everything was wonderful and our entire family totally enjoyed our week in the Oconomowoc/Delafield area. The highlight was probably the lake activities where various options are provided by the home owners, such as kayaks, canoes, peddle boat, and mulitple level deck/docks for sunning, fishing and swimming. The shallow waters (foot deep) on the lake's edge were perfect for the grandkids to get their feet wet. By the time a day went by, they were all jumping into the lake from the docks (4-5 ft depth) and swimming out to the floating dock. One of our family members brought a fishing boat with 25hp motor which was great for touring the lake. At night, we always got a fire going in the firepit with the firewood provided. Nothing like roasting marshmallows on the open fire.......or maybe even a hotdog or brat. Plenty of sleeping room for everyone on incredibly comfortable mattresses. Three bathrooms worked very well for our large group and the laundry allowed us to always have a fresh supply of towels daily (plenty of extras stored in closets too!). Plenty of extra pillows too. Very nice kitchen for meals we prepared ourselves. Close to many shopping and dining options........groceries, snacks, household supplies, restaurants. A few places we enjoyed were Stolleys Lake Pub, Kurt's Supper Club and the Lumber Inn for breakfast. The owners are super nice people who seem to be truly interested in making sure their guests have a comfortable and memorable experience. Every detail is covered in the Welcome Book and they are very accessible by texting. Thanks Kay and Dave. We're booking again for 2015!!!"
