"Our family of 6 stayed at this property for 10 days in July 2015. We enjoyed the yard, the beautiful view of the lake, the screened porch (loved watching a big thunderstorm roll through one afternoon from the screened porch!!) and the new outdoor patio area and large gas grill. The house was clean. We rented their pontoon boat during our entire stay and cruised the lake several times during our stay... life jackers and a few floating chairs/rafts included. Powers Lake is crystal clear and the water temp was perfect!! The dock w/ the chairs was great for those who wanted some sun and there is plenty of shade in the large lake front yard. We brought some yard games and spent many hours outside. The beds/bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen (well stocked with ample dishes, pans, etc. - bring a sharp knife though if you are really cooking!!) and laundry room worked out great. They even offered us any paper products, dish soap, etc. in the house... which was great if we ran out of what we brought on the last few days!! There are plenty of bathroom and beach towels. Several nice grocery stores are within an easy 15 minute drive. Lake Geneva is close by if you want to venture there for lunch/shopping/sight seeing... it's a beautiful little town to spend the day. We hired a college student down the lake who took our kids out on the lake to tube/wakeboard/ski on several days... that was a huge bonus for us!! The pontoon boat would be great for younger kids though and the owners even furnished a tube and rope for us to use if we wanted it... and they had a row boat that we used!! The lake is no-wake until 10am which allows for a nice quiet morning by the lake to fish (bring your own fishing equipment!) or just enjoy a cup of coffee. The nights were peaceful for sleeping... we never turned the air conditioning on as the breeze throughout the house was wonderful. The neighbors were friendly and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other at all... hardly noticed them with plenty of space to spread out. The internet/wifi/tv worked great. The property is easy to find. The owners were very responsive with questions and gave us a quick tour of the property when we got there. Bring your swimsuits, sunscreen and food and you are set for a great family or couples trip!! We would highly recommend Powers Lake and this property!!"

"We stayed at Grande Vista Manor with a group of friends (4 couples) for a weekend. The house was in overall great shape, and the layout of the main floor was perfect for a group of people and had comfortable furniture in good condition. All in all the house felt clean when we arrived. The pontoon boat was wonderful to rent, and overall the house was perfect for a group of people. The owner was kind and responsive and allowed us to arrive early so that we could accommodate our baby's nap schedule. Our only complaints were that it rained one night, and the sunlight in the smallest bedroom (which is not actually a bedroom, but an office and should be advertised as such) leaked on the bed in the middle of the night and the people sleeping there got wet. This maintenance issue should be attended to asap to avoid this happening to other guests in the future. The pontoon boat was a definite perk of this house, as well as the proximity to Lake Geneva, and being right on Power Lake. All in all I would recommend this property to a friend and would stay there again."

"We chose this house for a family reunion of 15 ages 7-71. It was perfect for each one of us. The house is beautifully furnished and immaculate with ample space to gather in large groups or small ones or for time alone. All items in the house are top quality and well maintained. The grounds are meticulously landscaped. There was nothing we wanted that was not supplied--even to sand toys for the young ones. The staff was friendly, responsive and prompt. During the day the water trampoline and kayaks were big hits as was the sandy beach, the hammock, the swing and fishing. Tubing was the favorite. In the evening, we played pool and board games on the lower level. After dark, we gathered around the fire pit for talking and roasting marshmallows. This is definitely a five star destination. It is luxurious and comfortable. What a way to go to the beach! I highly recommend this property. John and Nancy, this is an amazing home! It was a wonderful week."

"8 of my closest friends and I wanted a place to hang out for the weekend. Play bags, BBQ, sit around and not do much at all. We have stayed in Wisconsin now for a few years running and this was the nicest house we stayed in. Great ping pong table, TVs in all the right places, HUGE yard on the water. I would recommend this place for any large group to stay."
