"8 of my closest friends and I wanted a place to hang out for the weekend. Play bags, BBQ, sit around and not do much at all. We have stayed in Wisconsin now for a few years running and this was the nicest house we stayed in. Great ping pong table, TVs in all the right places, HUGE yard on the water. I would recommend this place for any large group to stay."

"Our family stayed at this lovely house for a long weekend to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday, with my parents, two siblings and their partners, and my family of five (including baby). There was plenty of room for everyone and my grandma was able to use the main floor bedroom. We spent much time in the huge "great room" and loved that we could all fit at the large dining table. The weather was not beautiful that weekend so we spent a lot of time indoors - enjoying how comfortable and spacious the home was! Although we were able to play in the large yard and Bill kindly took out the paddle boat for us to take the kids out on the lake. Our only complaints were that although the house was handicap accessible, there is not a full bathroom on the main floor so we had to help my grandma up the stairs for her shower. Also, my dad wasn't thrilled with the space to tie up his fishing boat, which required someone to get in the water (none of the rest of us minded though, and my dad never had to get in himself anyways!). We definitely hope to be back!!"

"This home is beautiful! We rented it for two weeks and loved every minute (once our thighs adjusted to the many stairs leading to the lake!) The log home is spacious and comfortable and the sun room in the main house, the lower level game area, and the separate boathouse provided perfect spaces particularly on rainy days (we had a few major storms during our stay). The house had 2 kayaks which we made excellent use of during no-wake hours on the lake before 10 a.m. or after dusk. There is also a paddle boat. The kids loved swimming and fishing off the pier (shallow, clear water), and the many sizes of boat shoes in the boat house were a welcome relief from the rocky bottom. The lake gets very busy on the weekends and it's patrolled. Both my nephews got tickets for having their jet skis too close to each other during peak time on the lake (you must maintain 100 feet, which gets a little tricky when it's crowded--pay attention--they don't cut you any slack and the tickets are $110 each). Lots of parking in front and a large yard for all sorts of games. The water in the main house showers smells like sulphur, but there's a water cooler for drinking/cooking. We had to call to get more water delivered from Culligan. There's only one recycling bin on the property and it was full when we arrived and the pick-up is every two weeks so we left it full for the next guests (sorry!). The house is well provisioned for a one-week stay, but if you're there longer, you'll probably need to bring/buy extra garbage bags; dish, dishwasher and laundry soap, bleach, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Lots of near-by shopping though. The large kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you could need. The gas stove might have a little leak--it smelled like gas even when the burners were off. There's a small beverage fridge in the boathouse but there's no bathroom down there so be prepared to do some stair climbing to find relief! You'll find lots of treasures in the lower boathouse--there are extra dock chairs, umbrellas, tables, floats, toys, tools--just about everything you might need/want. This house and grounds were fantastic and we created some truly spectacular memories with our family. We loved our stay at Rustic Waters and look forward to coming back for another visit."

"We stayed at this property this past weekend . From the very beginning, the renter was incredibly professional, courteous, pleasant, and responsive. The house is in a great location. It was extremely comfortable and provided a relaxed environment. When we arrived at the house, we were very pleased with how nice, clean and well kept it was. The house was well stocked with utensils and everyday household items. It was also extremely spacious for the number of people that stayed at the property (8). The only negatives would be 1) the face towels - they should probably be replaced, or I would suggest bringing your own. 2) the water in the bathrooms seemed to have a very peculiar smell - perhaps it was from a filtration/purifying system, but it smelled a little like sewerage. That however, would not keep me from returning. We really enjoyed our stay. The group I was with all agree we would definitely love to stay at this property again.
Thanks so much!"
