  • Loved this House

"This house was huge and amazing. It is perfect for a couple or a large family, very cozy and beautifully decorated. We loved the eclectic styles of wall art and nicknacks. It is also large enough to accommodate a large family without feeling cramped. Our three adult children, spouses, and two grandchildren arrived at mid week and they all loved the house. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. The great room is simply awesome. Plenty of seating space and a huge TV, plus a fantastic gas fireplace which we used on a couple of chilly nights. There are several small playgrounds nearby the house, as well as a public beach a few blocks away. We only went into Lake Geneva to groceries. We are not shoppers but if that's your thing Lake Geneva is only a short drive. Lake Como itself is shallow and weedy, however there are natural sand bars that you can anchor to and swim off your boat, or try the public beach. Mary was great, it was nice to have someone close by for questions. She knows the area well and provided assistance with a pontoon boat problem we had with a local marina. If we get the chance next year we will be back."

  • Proud Parents

"Our son was getting married at Hawks View Golf Course. The drive was 15 minits. Instead of my immediate and extended family getting hotel rooms for 2-3 nights, my husband and I rented this home. The ages of guests were 15-84. There were many reasons for the choice, but the most important was that I didn't need to worry about anything at the house, I had so much to do with the wedding. The house was certainly large enough, with plenty of beds for all, my sister has 3 girls and the basement was perfect for her and her family, and a visiting aunt. The basement bathroom is huge with plenty of hooks to hang towels, the only problem was there weren't any down there, so we had to scramble to accommodate them. Thanks to Sis, she brought some of her own. The Jack N Jill bathrooms on the first floor were convenient for sharing. The other 2 powder rooms (.5 bath) were a huge plus. The Sunroom is awesome, with some early risers they could make coffee and head into the sunroom and not disturb others sleeping. About 9ish in the am, we saw a buck adjacent to the house in the field, he sauntered around picking at vegetation. He had a new rack coming in, but we figured he was 3-5 yrs. old. That was cool. The Kitchen is large and has plenty of work space. People leave behind some condiments etc... in the fridge which is very nice in case you forget something. If I had any complaint it is the room/bed comfortableness. I actually slept in 3 rooms looking for the 'right' one and never found it. One set of twins is very squeaky, one set of twins is not that much better. The King Room is so bright in the AM that I had to wrap a bandana on my eyes. There was a 'musty-ness' to the King Room Closet. This is a pet-free home, I just happen to bring a Nutri-Air spray and I'm glad I did, there is dog bedding in the closet, I must have been sensitive to that and got a little uncomfortable. The process of renting was smooth, you get plenty of do's and don'ts instructions/sheets etc.... This property made the 'wedding' madness a little easier to come home to. Thank You"

  • Wonderful stay

"We take a Lake trip every summer with another family (we each have two kids under 4 years old). This year we chose Lake Beulah and it was great. The house was incredibly kid friendly and accommodated our two families perfectly. The highlight for the 4 year-olds were the bunk beds and secret hiding nook. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the garage well equipped with every size life jacket or boating accessory you could imagine, and the house was fully stocked with plenty of beach towels! We rented the owner's boat which proved to be incredibly convenient. We didn't have to hassle with finding a rental and losing precious lake time and the boat was in great shape. There is a wonderful fire pit which we would have used more often but the mosquitoes were vicious. What more can I say? We had a very enjoyable stay in a very comfortable house on a wonderful lake."
