"What a neat, clean cabin nestled in the Black River Falls forest! Not far off the road, but far enough to be secluded and quiet. There's a lot to do in the area; we went to Lake Arbitus, Wazee Lake, picked blueberries in Merrillan and hiked in the Castle Mound park area. We had plenty of room for our 5 kids and enjoyed eating on the back patio area, sitting on the front porch, and relaxing by the campfire. Stocked up on groceries at the BRF Walmart about 10 minutes away...ate ice cream at the Dairy Way, and had a great time! The owner was so helpful and prompt in all of our communication; thanks for all of the cozy touches in this cabin!"

"First thought as we walked in the door was... BEAUTIFUL!!! Very clean, nice shiney wood floors, great kitchen, and fantastic deck. Dining, gift shops and proximity to the water were all within walking distance. During our 2 night stay, we saw stunning sunsets both nights. The only negative would be the train horns...light sleepers may not appreciate them.

"My husband and I have been to this beautiful home three times and plan to go back next year again. It is perfect for us and we love the whole area. I especially love the sunsets almost every evening. I have taken at least a dozen pictures that I
can look at all winter. The house itself is great. It is always clean and perfect. It has a fireplace for cold weather and it has an outdoor fire pit for enjoyment. The Jacuzzi is a real plus. We could even watch the sunsets from it. The kitchen is great. It has everything a cook could possible want. I did a lot of cooking and found everything I needed. The trains do pass in back of the house but we love trains and they did not bother us. In fact there was a week with few to no trains and we missed seeing them. There are three pub/restaurant within walking distance. There is a market right down the block that carries a little of everything if you forget to bring something you need. There is a dock and fishing pier down the street for fisherman. There are some good restaurants nearby. Lansing Iowa. about ten miles away has several eating places. The Great River Road House in De Soto, Wi. about 7 miles away has a great view of the Mississippi, great food and pizza. This house is just a great get away spot."

"We just stayed here and it was so cute. It is tucked away in the beautiful countryside and was very comfortable. There is a great hot tub, fire pit, deck, and inside it is small but perfect for 2 people. It can easily sleep 3 people with the futon bed and a single bed. Everything was really clean and there was great communication before the stay.
I did get lost a couple times when I drove to run errands because there is no cell service (AT&T) so I recommend doing a little research on the roads and towns nearby before you get there. Or just let yourself get lost. The scenery is so beautiful, I didn't even mind!
It is about a 10 minute drive from DeSoto and probably a 45 drive from LaCrosse about. Desoto has bars and restaurants and nearby Genoa does too."
