"My girlfriends and I stayed here for 3 days for our annual fall getaway. The house was spotless and very comfortable. It's a convenient location and we really enjoyed touring and shopping in all of the charming towns nearby. The Harbor View restaurant was outstanding!! The only complaint we have (which was very minor) was how slow the coffee pot brewed :-) Seven women looking for their morning coffee found it hard to wait so long for one pot to brew!
Thanks Jim for such comfortable accommodations."

"Wonderful place to stay for a family of 6. All questions are answered quickly by Larry. The villa is very private and shares other villas on each side but not directly behind. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the area has much to offer for recreation."

"Our second time here, first time about 8 years ago with no kids, this time with two small ones. The first time was fun enough to remember to come back. This time the kids and us had an awesome time exploring, hot tubing, evening fires, checking out Rush Creek, etc. Plenty to do with no reason to do anything. Relaxing."

"My husband and I have been to this beautiful home three times and plan to go back next year again. It is perfect for us and we love the whole area. I especially love the sunsets almost every evening. I have taken at least a dozen pictures that I
can look at all winter. The house itself is great. It is always clean and perfect. It has a fireplace for cold weather and it has an outdoor fire pit for enjoyment. The Jacuzzi is a real plus. We could even watch the sunsets from it. The kitchen is great. It has everything a cook could possible want. I did a lot of cooking and found everything I needed. The trains do pass in back of the house but we love trains and they did not bother us. In fact there was a week with few to no trains and we missed seeing them. There are three pub/restaurant within walking distance. There is a market right down the block that carries a little of everything if you forget to bring something you need. There is a dock and fishing pier down the street for fisherman. There are some good restaurants nearby. Lansing Iowa. about ten miles away has several eating places. The Great River Road House in De Soto, Wi. about 7 miles away has a great view of the Mississippi, great food and pizza. This house is just a great get away spot."
