"Very nice vista off the deck and great location for fishing and hiking.
The house was very clean and the owners were very helpful!
Overall, great relaxing stay.
Only caveat was no hand mixer in the kitchen."

"We spent the weekend with family and It was a great place to reconnect. It was warm but the bedrooms are in the basement so we slept well. During the day We went to the local county park and spent the day swimming. The kitchen is fully equipped and we prepared all our meals there. Overall a wonderful property. The area is quiet. I especially liked the deck overlooking the creek."

"Five of us traveled from CA for the 150th year celebration of the town of Valley, Wi. When we arrived it was a pleasant surprise to meet Cedric in person. He was mowing the beautiful expansive lawn. After multiple emails before our trip we found the home just as described. Very Clean, fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds in all rooms. Linens were also well stocked as well as a washer and dryer which was helpful after traveling so far. The house is remote in a beautiful serene valley so please note you will not have GPS or cell service for most of your travels. It is important to bring a calling card to use in the home, if you are calling out of the area which we did and it worked out great. The home is at the base of Cheyenne Valley so if you travel out after dark it is very helpful to leave on multiple lights. Several evenings we met with family and even traveled north to Tomah to the Amtrak station to pick up family. Leaving lights on was extremely helpful. If you are looking for a peaceful place to disconnect this is it. The hectic pace coming from the West coast just melted away. No cell, no electronic gadgets, and no TV. We watched a movie as the house has a nice DVR and we played cards etc. The lush landscaping was simply gorgeous after coming from the drought in CA. The animals including the cows in the meadow all seem happy and we so enjoyed watching the twin fawns each morning hiding in and out of the corn, along with the red and black squirrels chattering outside our bedroom windows. If you are not familiar with the area or roads it may be a bit more challenging at first to locate the home so I would not recommend doing so in the evening. Once you are there for a day you will find the peace and beauty very special. Thank you Cedric for sharing this peace of heaven with us. We hope to come stay again with more family. The California Team."

"Cabin was nice. Could have used a few more towels and pillows for a family of 6. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, even a crock pot. Only thing missing were some measuring cups. Overall a great deal for the price! We'd definitely do it again."
