"What a neat, clean cabin nestled in the Black River Falls forest! Not far off the road, but far enough to be secluded and quiet. There's a lot to do in the area; we went to Lake Arbitus, Wazee Lake, picked blueberries in Merrillan and hiked in the Castle Mound park area. We had plenty of room for our 5 kids and enjoyed eating on the back patio area, sitting on the front porch, and relaxing by the campfire. Stocked up on groceries at the BRF Walmart about 10 minutes away...ate ice cream at the Dairy Way, and had a great time! The owner was so helpful and prompt in all of our communication; thanks for all of the cozy touches in this cabin!"

"Four of us (two couples) were looking for a quiet place to relax and get caught up with each other. Our experience can be described a "country peaceful". The apartment is nicely decorated; the kitchen is very adequately stocked with utensils, dinnerware, etc.; the "gathering room" space is very nice. Two nice bedrooms (each with a dedicated flat screen TV). Two nice separate baths (one with a jacuzzi and one with a shower). A nice deck off the one bedroom. All very clean and well maintained with a separate entrance. AND Lu couldn't have been more gracious as she welcomed us and showed us around!"

"My wife and I and two friends enjoyed a wonderful weekend here overlooking the Mississippi! A great house for us - the three bedrooms were perfect and having a garage was a real plus with the very cold nights we had! the house had everything we needed and was a wonderful place to relax after visiting Lacrosse and the Amish countryside! We have rented a good number of homes on the Great River Road and this one was the most comfortable with the best view we have enjoyed! Thank You!"

"My husband and I have been to this beautiful home three times and plan to go back next year again. It is perfect for us and we love the whole area. I especially love the sunsets almost every evening. I have taken at least a dozen pictures that I
can look at all winter. The house itself is great. It is always clean and perfect. It has a fireplace for cold weather and it has an outdoor fire pit for enjoyment. The Jacuzzi is a real plus. We could even watch the sunsets from it. The kitchen is great. It has everything a cook could possible want. I did a lot of cooking and found everything I needed. The trains do pass in back of the house but we love trains and they did not bother us. In fact there was a week with few to no trains and we missed seeing them. There are three pub/restaurant within walking distance. There is a market right down the block that carries a little of everything if you forget to bring something you need. There is a dock and fishing pier down the street for fisherman. There are some good restaurants nearby. Lansing Iowa. about ten miles away has several eating places. The Great River Road House in De Soto, Wi. about 7 miles away has a great view of the Mississippi, great food and pizza. This house is just a great get away spot."
