  • Wonderful Home

"Spent 4 nights. Very nicely furnished, great kitchen and right on the Mississippi. Lot's to do in surrounding areas (not much in Ferryville). Beautiful woods, trails, State Parks."

  • Wonderful Cabin Getaway

"My wife and I have stayed at several VRBO rentals over the years, and this place is one of the nicest. The cabin is spotless and well equipped. We brought our black lab Mackie who had a wonderful time swimming, fetching, chasing squirrels, and even playing with the owner's black lab one day. Not many places will accept pets these days, so we were fortunate to find this place. It is also very close to where my daughter lives, so we got to spend some time with her. I caught a nice 31" blue catfish our first night there, and missed several others. We had several campfires down by the river while fishing at the same time. There are tons of places to go and things to do in the area. Also good places to eat such as Red Pines on Lake Onalaska and the Hungry Point Bar and Trempealeau Hotel in Trempealeau (8 miles away). The only thing that is not obvious from the pics and description is the hill down to the river is bigger than it looks. You will get a bit of a workout going back and forth, which is a good thing. It's a great place and we had a great time. Will definitely go back."

  • Wonderful re-"TREAT" for large groups!

"Our extended family had a fantastic stay at New Haven. This large home comfortably accommodated our group of 23 and was well equipped and well cared for. The landscape is beautiful and the house has lots of fun features. The kids had a great time playing hide-and-seek in this enormous house. The adults enjoyed cooking, playing games and hiking. The Elroy Sparta bike trail is a lot of fun. Some of our group chose not to bike but still walked through the tunnels on the trail. We had a great time exploring the area and going to Amish stores and bakeries. Horse drawn carriages are as plentiful in this area as cars! We hope to return again next year for more adventures. The owner is very pleasant to work with and refunded our deposit right away."

  • Just right.

"My husband and I spent 4 nights in this charming house in Ferryville. We chose this place as it close to where I grew up and was centrally located to visiting friends, family and old neighbors. It was just the right size for two of us, but 2 more couples could have joined easily. We had plenty of space for visiting friends and while we didn't cook in the kitchen, it was well-equipped. I highly suggest a morning walk down to the Swing Inn for the local breakfast. Deb makes it easy to come and go. Can't wait to return."
