"Our second time here, first time about 8 years ago with no kids, this time with two small ones. The first time was fun enough to remember to come back. This time the kids and us had an awesome time exploring, hot tubing, evening fires, checking out Rush Creek, etc. Plenty to do with no reason to do anything. Relaxing."

"We have just come back from 4 wonderful days in the Timber Coulee Cottage. An excuse for me to go fly fishing in the Driftless area of Wisconsin. However, the fishing was not great, due to low water and high temperatures but we had a great time. My wife and I felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door. We especially enjoyed the screen porch, where we ate all our meals. Excellent birding in the back yard, Herons, kingfishers and a flock of Waxwings were a daily sighting by the Creek plus Northern Harriers and Redtailed Hawks over the meadow. We will definitely be back."

"So many details are seen to in this lovely cottage. The views of the Mississippi, a lot of room to spread out. There was even room to invite additional family from Onalaska come for a cookout. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here."

"My husband, myself, and two of our friends were looking for a cabin for a long weekend of relaxation, playing games, and exploring. Lucky for us, we found THIS cabin.
The cabin itself is positively gorgeous. The layout is something I couldn't have pictured, but was absolutely ideal for us. A full kitchen for making our own meals, a table large enough for board games, and a lofted living space with amazing breezes. The cabin was very well stocked. Linens and all the kitchen bits we needed to make our meals. The many windows are fantastic, and eliminated any need for us to utilize either the heat or the air as we were able to perfectly ventilate and really feel immersed in the woods around the cabin. We were also please with the quality of the Wi-Fi. None or our cell phones worked in the immediate area, but we were able to stay in touch via the wi-fi. We also brought along our Chromecast, and the wifi absolutely had sufficient strength to allow us to stream our own movies from home.
We loved the area. We hadn't planned to explore much, but found ourselves going for short hikes in the immediate vicinity. Popping into town to catch a Football game or stock up on junk food, we even followed a sign to a small winery were we had a fantastic chat with the owner.
The crowning glory of the weekend was the blood supermoon. We didn't plan the trip around the event, but they happened to coincide, and we had a positively amazing view, devoid of ambient light.
We eagerly await the day we can return."
