  • A Week In Heaven

"We found the peace and quiet we were looking for. We had planned on doing a lot of activities but we were so relaxed we just lazed around. We took walks around the property which is beautiful with the wildflowers and the streams winding through them, sat on the porch drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds and the cows and listened to the sounds of nature. The house had everything we needed and more. We did not even miss the tv or phone. We took long drives and stopped at some Amish farms and a bakery. We cooked,we ate, we read books,we walked and talked and just relaxed and listened to the quiet. We have always stayed in busy, loud tourist areas when on vacation, no more. Thank you for sharing God's gift with us."

  • Comfortable spacious cabin in a peaceful setting

"We rented this cabin for a quick reunion among young families. We found it to be the perfect place to unplug from our devices. Our nature-loving kids had a blast running around the spacious yard, exploring Sugar Creek and trying out the refreshing spring-fed swimming hole out back. The adults had fun grilling each night and the kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows for S'Mores in the fire pit. In the morning we got our exercise by walking up the road to the top of the mountain…what a view!! As we were only there for a short weekend, we didn't get to try out biking or canoeing but I could certainly see that it would be a blast. The house was wonderfully appointed with all the utensils, pots and pans we needed, including a working coffee maker! The large kitchen with generous island was a pleasure to cook in. There were plenty of comfortable beds for our crew along with all the blankets we needed. The kids enjoyed unwinding to Disney movies in the basement at the end of each night, what a great collection! The owner was wonderful to work with and very prompt in seeing to any detail. Thanks again for opening your warm and inviting home to us!"

  • Great Cabin

"We stayed in late 2012 for a friends birthday celebrations, and this cabin was perfect. The home was well furnished and everything was as described. The hot tub was a nice touch, we took a dip at night under the stars. Wonderful place, we would consider coming back for the summer."

  • Spacious and Comfortable

"I was enjoyed my stay in this very spacious apartment that includes the entire second floor of the house. Everything I needed was there. I wanted to significant spend time writing and found the sunporch to be a perfect spot. (I just needed to move a higher table in on which to put my laptop.) The porch has a ceiling fan and was very pleasant to sit in for hours with temperatures in the low 80s. Plenty of tall trees provide shade. The neighborhood is very quiet and it is a very convenient location to shopping, running, restaurants, the Mississippi River, and more."
