  • Comfortable spacious cabin in a peaceful setting

"We rented this cabin for a quick reunion among young families. We found it to be the perfect place to unplug from our devices. Our nature-loving kids had a blast running around the spacious yard, exploring Sugar Creek and trying out the refreshing spring-fed swimming hole out back. The adults had fun grilling each night and the kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows for S'Mores in the fire pit. In the morning we got our exercise by walking up the road to the top of the mountain…what a view!! As we were only there for a short weekend, we didn't get to try out biking or canoeing but I could certainly see that it would be a blast. The house was wonderfully appointed with all the utensils, pots and pans we needed, including a working coffee maker! The large kitchen with generous island was a pleasure to cook in. There were plenty of comfortable beds for our crew along with all the blankets we needed. The kids enjoyed unwinding to Disney movies in the basement at the end of each night, what a great collection! The owner was wonderful to work with and very prompt in seeing to any detail. Thanks again for opening your warm and inviting home to us!"

  • Great Stay

"This is a great stay. I must admit we were skeptical about an apartment setting but found our stay great. It is very clean, quiet, and has everything you need. The views of the valley are some of the best. The owners are very friendly and nice to visit with."

  • Lovely Cottage

"I have never stayed at this cottage but I know exactly where it's located along the beautiful Mississippi River. I've read all the reviews, viewed the photos and I would say this place is a hidden gem for vacationers. I was born and raised in La Crosse, now live in Onalaska, Wisconsin and literally about a 20 minute drive away but I would seriously consider renting this for a romantic couples weekend away with my husband. The place looks beautiful and the rates are fantastic! I'd rather stay here than in a hotel if I were coming to the La Crosse area!"
