  • Highly Recommend!

"This place is phenomenal! We arrived just when the fall colors were beginning and the drive to the cabin was gorgeous. The cabin is further off the road than most of the properties we saw on this lake. We brought our 2 year old and 4 year old with us. There were tons of kid friendly games and videos. There were also plenty of kid friendly dishes in the kitchen. The view of Dam Lake from the cabin is spectacular. The sandy bottom beach was perfect for the kids. Even though we brought our own sand toys, the kids were excited to find plenty of sand toys in the beach house. We were impressed at the life jacket selection and the boats. Our family loved the kayaks and paddleboat. We let the kids fish off the dock and while they didn't catch anything, they got plenty of bites (we think our bait was too big). We had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to return next year!"

  • Phenomenal Property

"The property was phenomenal both inside and out. Highlights listed below. Outside: • Exterior is very grand…jaw dropped when pulling into the property. • Huge deck with wonderful view was great for grilling, eating, and hanging outside. • Large flat yard was great for yard games. • Ample parking space (we had 5 cars parked on the property and there was more than enough parking space). Inside: • Cabin was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Probably one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. • Décor was wonderful….had a luxury “up north” feel. • Great layout…very spacious and open. Whether hanging out in the kitchen, living room, or family room we had tons of space. • Beds and linens were very comfortable. • Wonderful to have 4 separate bathrooms. • Kitchen was fully stocked. Also, great to have fridge upstairs for food and downstairs for beverages. Other: • We rented a pontoon from Bear Country/North Country Vacation rentals. It was very convenient…they delivered it right to the dock. Everyone in the group loved it. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Perfect lake cottage

"My family and I had a wonderful time at the Beasley Lake cottage. We appreciated the charm of the older half of the cottage and the modern conveniences of the newer half. The lake is amazing, and a short walk from the back door. This cottage is on a no wake lake, which is connected to Long Lake which is plenty big for water skiing. A paddle boat, canoe and fishing boat were suppled for us."

  • Perfect for a family vacation

"This is a perfect place for a family to take their vacation. The cabin is very spacious with plenty of room and very clean. Great view of the lake and it was nice being on a quiet bay. Big Crawling Stone Lake (& the chain of 10 lakes) is awesome and very crystal clear lakes, fishing was okay caught a lot of fish unfortunately to small to keep. Loved the fact of having a private pier that our 18' boat fit nicely at. There are nice touches everywhere, like family games, books to read and a fire pit. Our daughters enjoyed the paddle boat and wanted to take the canoe out but we just ran out of time. There is plenty of room for parking and parking your boat trailer. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. We look forward to hopefully taking another vacation here."

Wisconsin Travel Tips

No matter what type of adventures you’re looking for, Wisconsin is sure to give you what you want. Thanks to its varied terrain, outdoor and indoor adventures are plentiful here, and its combination of populous cities and charming small towns makes it a great place for those looking to get away or immerse themselves in a new city’s culture. If you can’t decide which Wisconsin destination to visit, look into these cities:

Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva is found in the southern part of the state near the border with Illinois. There are several restaurants in this town to enjoy, including family eateries such as Margot’s Restaurant, Popeye’s on Lake Geneva, Pier 290 and Clausing Barn Resaurant. A family meal at Pier 290 will sit you along the shores of Geneva Lake where you can enjoy the rustling of the waters as you munch on a delicious meal of American cuisine. Before you stop and eat at Clausing Barn Restaurant, be sure to take a tour of the 19th-century museum and walk through the grounds of Old World Wisconsin, where you can learn more about the state’s early beginnings of rural and immigrant life. Art lovers should stop by the many galleries and exhibits in the city, including Geneva Art Pottery, Maple Park Antiques and Lake Geneva Antique and Art Bazaar. At these locations, you can purchase items and browse through the works of local talent. If you’re really itching to visit the big city while staying in Lake Geneva, Chicago is only an hour and a half away by car.

Milwaukee

Milwaukee may be best-known for its delicious taps from breweries large and small alike, but this beautiful city also sits along the shores of Lake Michigan and features many attractions for everyone. Children will enjoy the Milwaukee County Zoo as they pick out their favorite animals. They’ll also love the science and technology at their fingertips with a trip to Discovery World, which can be found along the water in downtown Milwaukee. Many festivals come to Milwaukee year-round, and present a great opportunity for visitors to get out and explore the city on a deeper level. For a night of sports, you can venture out to cheer on the Milwaukee Bucks during basketball season or watch the Brewers outscore their visiting opponents. Adults can enjoy the Harley Davidson Museum, Milwaukee Theatre or the Miller Brewery Visitor Center and the Girl in the Moon Brewery Shop. Shopping is all over town and includes boutiques, brand name designers, an adorable farmers market and some of your favorite retail stores. A trip to Milwaukee will not only be the escape to the city you never knew you needed, but also a prime chance to enjoy yourself with a relaxing trip.

Madison

Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and home to several historic sites as well as the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Despite being a small, college city, there’s much to do in Madison, including it’s downtown area known as State Street as well as great shopping and dining destinations in the bustling Capitol Square. Don’t forget to pencil in a trip to the 100-year-old state capitol which towers over the city thanks to its gilded bronze statue. Daily tours are offered to the building’s visitors, where they can get a more in-depth look at the history behind the state and how it got to where it is today. Down the street a couple of blocks is Monona Terrace, a center designed by the famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. He once called nearby Taliesin home and his presence is still felt in Madison and its neighboring cities. You can take a tour of the home and stand in awe at the city and lake views from the rooftop garden, the perfect place for a picnic.

Wisconsin Dells

No matter the time of year, there’s always a water adventure to be had in Wisconsin Dells. The "water park capital of the world" has indoor and outdoor water thrills which are some of the best you'll find anywhere. There are five indoor and outdoor water park attractions open to guests during the year’s warmer and cooler months, including Chula Vista, Kalahari, Mt. Olympus, Noah’s Ark and Temple of the Black Pearl at Polynesian. Noah’s Ark is the only water park in Wisconsin Dells that is open during the summer months; however, with four others to choose from, there’s still plenty of fun to be had here. Kalahari is a safari-themed attraction that includes the uphill water rollercoaster called Master Blaster, and the family raft ride, Victoria Falls.
