"Wonderful experience! Par was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, especially fishing and hiking opportunities. We enjoyed our stay and our dog loved swimming in the Encampment River. The folks at the nearby visitor center were also very helpful and had many maps available. No Verizon service available in Riverside but we went north to Saratoga and Verizon available there."

"My husband and I were traveling from Denver to Jackson Hole, WY and spent one night at Karen's place to break up the trip. It was so beautiful, clean, welcoming, and relaxing, we wished we were staying another night. The apartment itself is perfect and we cannot say enough about how relaxing it was to just sit on the deck that evening, reading and relaxing with a glass of wine. The deck furniture was comfortable and the sunset we witnessed was the best we saw over the next 9 days. I sent photos to everyone back home and they were in awe of how beautiful it was! We also took a few minutes to go visit the horses!!
I cannot say enough about how great Karen's rental is and how much we appreciated the perfect start to our vacation. I would definitely recommend it, a million times better than staying in a hotel if you are visiting Laramie or traveling through the area.
We will definitely return if we find ourselves in Laramie again!!

"This unit was fantastic. It is well equiped (flat screens in each room, ipod docking stations in each room, satelite TV, and wifi). It is spacious, super clean and nicely finished. The kitchen has everything you need including spices, coffee, and all the kitchen tools you could ever need. While it is a townhouse, you only share one wall with a neighbor. The way the unit is built, you never see or hear from that neighbor. Basically, it feels like a detached house. The location is awesome. In my opinion, the Moose-Wilson road is the best place to stay in the Jackson area. The owners are great to work with and the management company made it very easy. In short, I highly recommend this unit! We will be back."

"Spent four days at the Overlook with my wife & three adult sons and had a nice stay at this charming, comfortable log home with great views, privacy and plenty of bedrooms and plenty to explore in the region. The Hoback River from the upper head waters about 14 miles away (four miles as the crow flies) throughout the public access areas has cutthroat trout with numerous feeder creeks going all the way to Moran. There is a great deal of wildlife around the home with mule deer and antelope on the property. On the head water road to the upper Hoback there is a sizable bison ranch with numbers well into the hundreds.Katherine & Geoffrey were helpful in supporting the local businesses and we had a pleasant experience with the various people we met. Wyoming is big country so driving 100-150 day for basic items can be expected. Owning or renting ORV's adds a great deal to this property since you will have direct access to the national forests and linking trails from the house. Renting is possible through the sports equipment suppliers in Jackson & Pinedale but plan ahead. You will need a hitch to trailer the rental ORV's to this location which is common in the area since numerous trailheads are off highway roads where ORV's can't be used on. We rented ORV's one day in Alpine and fished the Greys River over the course of the afternoon and caught some nice cutthroats in 12-14" size. All our fishing access was from our rental vehicle. A four wheel drive vehicle is not necessary to access large portions of the Hoback and feeder creeks.
Beautiful country, you are in the wilderness so be "Bear Aware" and enjoy this location! Check out the Overlook Book at the house for the numerous activities Geoffrey & Katherine recommend."
