  • Great Hosts, Perfect Location, Cozy Guest House

"Becky and Jayne are delightful hosts. Since they live in the adjacent cabin, they were readily available if we had questions about the unit, transportation, skiing, or restaurants. They were warm and welcoming, but not intrusive. The Burt Barn Guest House is beautiful structure and is nestled among several cabins dwarfed by a stand of trees. It made for an unforgettable view from the living room window on a snowy Christmas morning. In addition to being beautiful, the Burt Barn Guest House has great location: it is along Moose Wilson Road (Route 390) between the town of Jackson and the Grand Teton National Park, including Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Right or left from the lane, you will find adventure or food. In fact, you can even walk down the lane to find food at Calico Italian Restaurant (pizza) or Q Roadhouse and Brewing (BBQ). And, if you are too tired to venture out, cook: Burt Barn Guest House has a full kitchen. The two-bedroom house was perfect for our family of four: two adults and two teenage kids. The flat had a delightful (and effective) gas stove and wifi. Becky and Jayne have stocked the house with a full library, including local travel books, and countless board games. Our family enjoyed our evenings in the cozy living room, which was warmed by the gas stove. We thank Becky and Jayne for sharing their home and holiday with us. We hope that they will take us back for another visit. And we recommend the Burt Barn Guest House without qualification."

  • Almost Home

"This is a place that will bring you back again and again. The worst part is when you have to close the door on the end of your stay. This cabin is clean, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and all in western decor that couldn't be more welcoming and comfortable. We have stayed on more than one occasion and have brought our grandkids to take the tour of the wild horses. We had the added bonus of seeing cranes on the drive out. There are clear night skies for evening walks and the most relaxing back porch. And if you wait, the dogs will come for a visit and bring their own sticks to play fetch. Paisley loves to leave a stick by the door so you know she is ready to play. We head over to the nearby cross-country ski trails to ski or snowshoe and are never disappointed at the solitude and beauty. Kandi is always helpful, making sure you lack for nothing. The next trip we hope to experience the trail there on the ranch. We always cook in but there are a couple good places to eat within a few miles in Centennial or Albany and the ice cream at the local stop in Centennial is the best, according to my grandson."

  • Saratoga's Finest

"The Roan Hill Ranch Guesthouse is the kind of place I don't want to tell others about because I selfishly want to keep it to myself. With hospitality like that offered by Bob and Sierra, it is no wonder that the secret is out. This is the best place to stay in Saratoga. My wife and I traveled to Saratoga from Fort Collins for an anniversary weekend getaway. Sierra had a bottle of wine and card waiting when we arrived. She made reservations at Bella's for dinner. (If you go to Saratoga, go to Bella's. In fact, go to Saratoga if for no other reason then just to eat at Bella's - it's that good.) The guesthouse is well-appointed. It's quite cozy and has a tasteful Western flare. I believe the queen bed is a tempurpedic. It's quite comfortable. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to make a full meal. The views from the front of the guesthouse are amazing. Our first night there, I saw a shooting star like I had never seen. In the daylight, the mountain vistas are picturesque. But, in my mind, Bob and Sierra make the place. They are welcoming, friendly, and willing to share their knowledge of the area with you, but yet offer you privacy. Bob provided us excellent tips on local fishing and hiking spots - map included. Great location, great scenery, great food, great accommodations, great activities, and great hosts! We'll be back!"

  • Awesome. Just awesome.

"Our recent stay was our second stay in this warm, comfortable, spotless, peaceful home. The home was perfect in location, wildlife view (moose came by everyday), great for our energetic Springer Spaniel, ideal for outdoor activities as hiking, biking and oh so comfy for evening relaxation. The owners are very responsive and Joanna, the local go to person, is exceptional in making our stay trouble free from the moment we drove onto the property. This home is becoming our annual 'special time away'. By the way, the images do not do justice to the warm feeling you get in this wonderful home."
