  • Peaceful Respite with a View!!!

"My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs and had an AMAZING time!!! The both of us are very busy on a daily basis with our work and hobbies that it was nice to get away from work for a week in a place that promoted relaxation like 4 Paws. Not only was the cabin beautiful and charming in the decor, but it stayed warm and cozy despite the chilly weather outside. I am the type of woman who can get cold in the tropics ;) Tom and Amanda were excellent hosts and responded quickly to any need that arose for us during our stay. The cabin was immaculately clean, the bed was comfy, wifi and TV channels met all our tech needs, and our dogs had the time of their lives roaming around the acreage playing in the snow. Also, the town of Driggs is very charming, and Jackson Hole, WY is less than 1 hr over a breathtakingly beautiful pass. We highly recommend visiting Jackson Hole and taking the roads into Grand Teton National Park as you will definitely see wildlife such as buffalo, elk, moose and smaller wild game. As for any need that the cabin may have would depend on the guest. I myself love to cook so I found that next time we visit (Which we plan on definitely doing!) I am going to bring a couple more of my kitchen gadgets like my vitamix blender, larger skillet and pot (a medium sized skillet and pot are provided), and some of my seasonings. Other than this I would say that 4 Paws hit a high note on every possible plane! Believe me, I am a tough critic when it comes to vacation homes as I have travelled the world over staying in remarkable places, and for those of you who are difficult to please I can confidently say, 4 Paws will make the grade!"

  • Amazing place to unwind and relax

"We could only get into the Painted Cabin for three nights, and after our visit, we wished we were able to stay for a month or more. The cabin is in a great location outside the small community of Wilson, near the main roads that lead into Teton Village and Moose (a place, not the critter) and then another road about 10 minutes from Jackson (although 25 minutes in traffic). The photos of the interior and exterior are exactly what you will get, only they don't show how relaxed your will feel once you arrive. We sat on the porch drinking a glass of wine and were greeted by Roxie, the owners' small Border Terrier, and the neighbors' dog, Onyx, who looks like a big black wolf but is as gentle as they come. The loaner dogs helped us to miss our own pets less. We met the owner the first afternoon, but didn't feel as if we were intruding, even though their house was just yards away, hidden by trees. There is parking right next to the cabin. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed--plenty of pots and pans, utensils, gadgets, blender, toaster, Americana mugs--even the first day's worth of coffee and various teas. There was a linen closet with extra blankets, towels, and even beach towels. The living room had tons of reading materials about local attractions, including magazines, guide books, and coffee table books about the area. No need to bring a book or magazine of your own. There are also brochures for raft trips, horseback riding, and other activities that are up-to-date. The two bedrooms are spacious, and the master bath is big enough for two people to be in it at once, including a huge shower. There's a hairdryer in the vanity (one less thing to bring!) and sample-size bath products. The half bath is just off the hallway, and would not be suitable if there were a second couple sharing the cabin, or for kids. Think of it as a powder room. On the front porch, there's a BBQ, a small table that can be easily moved for having breakfast or happy hour, and four vintage metal chairs. We moved the chairs out to the nice-sized lawn when it was cool in the early morning, enjoying the view. The location is near the small community of Wilson, and several restaurants are nearby (not walking distance but a short drive). Book early if you want to rent this cabin--it will become more popular in the summer as the rates for accommodations in Jackson and Teton Village go up. You couldn't ask for a better place to unwind, relax, and fall back in love."

  • One of Jackson's Finest Properties

"My family stayed here for a month over Christmas 2014. We regularly stay in Jackson and this was by far our favorite! The home maximizes every view of the Jackson Hole valley. We would wake up in the mornings to gorgeous views of the Tetons throughout the home. Our kids would play in the snow out in the large back yard. We had family movie nights regularly in the sun room. This is truly one of those homes where pictures and reviews will not do it justice (as other reviews have said)! The kitchen could not have been more functional for a family with children. We were frequently visited by wild life (moose on the back porch, a red fox came by regularly, and elk wandered through the spacious back yard area). Lots of great family memories. The attached guest suite was even a perfect place for me to set up a quiet office. We were sad to leave after a month, but wish to come back again and again. What a wonderful and magical home."

  • Great House With Unbelievable Views

"Great layout for a guys trip or a family with four bedrooms and a basement for gaming. The view of the back deck is unreal. 270 degree views of the Tetons. Doesn't get much better than that. Would definitely come back and stay again. Kurt"
