  • Perfect location!

"We had the opportunity to spend the summer in Jackson...and I looked everywhere for a place to rent, and fortunately found this...couldn't have been more perfect. The location on the edge of town enabled us to walk anywhere in town, and still be just a short drive from Grand Teton NP, as well as centrally located to explore other areas of the Jackson Hole area. We loved sitting by the river in the evening (and wading in the river after a long hike!) and enjoying our wine and cheese. I think of being back out there all the time...really felt like home. Very comfortable and convenient. Enjoyed having a kitchen, but also was great to be close to so many downtown restaurants. Rachel gave us a list of what restaurants, stores, etc., are nearby. Wish we were going back!! We looked at other areas while we were there, "just in case" we make it back sometime, but decided that what we found with Brookside really fit all our needs. Place was very quiet, too... Highly recommend this place."

  • great stay in Jackson

"We had such a great time - the place is beautiful! It has everything - great view, comfy beds, awesome couches, steam shower and amazing latte maker! I want one of those for myself! I recommend this place for everyone! Melissa met us there and was very helpful and informative too!"

  • Ideal Place

"This was our 3rd time to Jackson Hole and our 1st time staying at this location. Before we stayed at Amangani and Spring Creek Ranch. This location was just as good and the views were wonderful. It's only a short 5 to 10 mins to town depending on traffic and conditions. Close enough to great restaurants and grocery store. The property is unbelievable plenty of room to take a nice walk and the scenery is breath taking. If you want some really good pics wait til sunset and just walk around the property you'll get some really good afternoon shots of the mountains. The guest house was perfect for the 3 of us. The beds were comfortable and even though it is relatively close to the main house it was very peaceful and quiet. The owners were very nice and made us feel at home. The only complaint I would have would be the position of the TV. Now I know that for most people on vacation TV placement isn't a big deal and generally for us it isn't either but this happen to be Super Bowl weekend (we found out a lot of Jackson Hole shuts down for the game) so the location of the TV wasn't the best for watching the game. Would recommend mounting the TV above the fireplace. Again it wasn't that big of a deal. Everything else from the kitchen to bedrooms you couldn't ask for better. Would highly recommend this location any time of the year. Oh yes the 2 white dogs were very friendly and great walking partners."

  • Cozy Cabin

"My husband and I along with our pup stayed here for a week and had a great time. The cabin was comfortable and convenient to the town of Jackson and the southern entrance of the Grand Tetons. It is in a subdivision, but there are no houses behind the cabin. It is an extremely quiet community making it easy to feel more isolated than you are. The owners left a generous supply of firewood, so we used the fireplace several evenings. With the exception of the toaster (wouldn't stay down), the appliances worked well. We enjoyed the use of the garage and would imagine that it would be a real benefit for skiers. While we enjoyed the cabin and would definitely recommend it, there are 3 things a prospective renter might like to know: The steps to the loft are quite steep; there is no bathroom door, just a curtain; the tub is elevated on a small platform with no handholds for getting in or out which might make its use a little perilous for the less agile."
