  • Jewel of Teton Village

"This is as beautiful a place as anyone could ever want. Luxuriously appointed, obviously be someone with excellent taste in western decor. Every room holds your interest with objects so tastefully appointed. Set in a small wooded area, with views of Rendevous Mountain, one can watch hot air balloons rise in the valley and paragliders sailing down from the top of the mountain. My wife and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary here and nothing could have been better. Complete peace and privacy in this very private area of log constructed luxury cabins, with wildlife just ourside our door. We saw deer and had red squirrels up on our porch looking for a handout. Truly a beautiful setting and suitable for all ages. We hated to leave and will always cherish the memories this home brought us."

  • Mountain Luxury and Tranquility!

"We spent a week in this home and had a great time! Wilson is about 15 – 20 minutes from Jackson, and it was wonderful to get out of the hustle and bustle of town. The house itself is lovely and I want to touch on the best parts first. The deck is AMAZING. Comfortable furniture, beautiful scenery, and all the wildlife you could want. From our deck we saw moose, deer, coyote, wolves, osprey, eagles, and hawks. The hot tub is nice and big, and the lounge furniture outside is awesome. The picnic table is old, and leaves a bit to be desired, but the scenic setting makes up for that. The indoor heated pool is a great addition to the house, and kept all of us entertained. It’s a a small pool, but definitely big enough for the kids to have some fun. The master bathroom is beautiful, with heated floors, and a wonderful shower. All the furniture in the house was very nice and tasteful, and seemed to be good quality. The kitchen was great, and had high quality pots, pans and utensils. It was a treat to cook here! Now the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. The third bedroom down in the basement is not great. It is a large room, but other than the bunks, there is not one other piece of furniture. And by that I mean no closet, no chest of drawers, no dresser, no mirror, nothing on the walls. It was completely barren, and felt like an afterthought to the rest of the house. It was a challenge to have four people sleeping down there, and nothing to even unpack clothes into. In addition, this bedroom adjoins the garage and the laundry room. Not an ideal situation if you have late sleepers, or if you simply don’t want to be traipsing through someone else’s bedroom in order to do laundry or leave the house. We averted this by not parking in the garage, which was fine since we were here in summer, but in winter this would be a serious concern for me. Finally, the bathroom in the basement is shabby. Dark and dingy, and not in tone with the rest of the house at all. In conclusion, we really enjoyed our stay, and would probably stay here again, but the third bedroom situation definitely needs some improving. It is an ideal place for groups that need only 2 bedrooms. If the owners are willing, a few things could make a big difference in the basement room. If you’re headed to Jackson Hole area and want a peaceful, quite, and beautiful accommodation, this may fit the bill perfectly, especially for smaller groups."

  • Charming cabin with pond, gorgeous Teton views!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy Cabin, only 10 minutes from Jackson Hole and a short drive via the very scenic Moose/Wilson road to Grand Teton park entrance. The Moose/Wilson road is also a prime location to spot moose, elk, owls, and other wildlife. The cabin is well appointed-gorgeous kitchen with everything you need, granite countertops. Two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, master has a gorgeous tile bathroom. Views of the Tetons are amazing, as well as the view of the horses on the ranch. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the kayak and paddleboat on our own private pond in the backyard as well as the horses, chickens, cat, ducks, and dogs. There are wonderful bike paths from the house with gorgeous scenery to take in while you ride. Dan and Debbie were very attentive to our needs during our stay and gave us helpful suggestions about things to do in the area. This area is a perfect place to stay, close to so many things. The house was well equipped with many books/guides on Teton and Yellowstone, as well as a wide variety of DVD's and movies suitable for all ages. Our kids would have been content to stay at the house the entire time and not venture out/sight-see at all! We look forward to staying here again someday!"

  • Quiet Hideaway

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First impression upon walking in was that it was very cute and comfortable. I always look at the type of living room furniture in a listings pics. The sofa and chair were roomy and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. I loved the window seat. The decor was cabin type like I hoped. The windows faced out to a stand of trees and an open meadow beyond. We did catch a quick glimpse of some moose and deer. Parking was convenient to unit. It was an end unit. We were at ground level and only heard the upstairs occupants a couple of times. The sound-proofing was very good. There was a galley kitchen. Narrow but convenient for a cook. The only negative items would be the placement of the TV. It was at an angle to the sofa. Made watching the TV a bit uncomfortable. I suggest installing it above fireplace. The washer and dryer are a bit old and moldy and could be replaced. Rearranging the bedroom furniture might make more room. Putting the dresser in the closet might help. Then nightstands could be on both sides of the bed. Otherwise, we found the unit to be just what we needed after a long 2 weeks of traveling. Quiet, relaxing and close to Jackson for stores and Teton Village, if you ski."
