"This property was great - in many ways. While not a large home the layout works very well - making it easy for the six of us to be very comfortable - with two in each room. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook and the kitchen table and the living room are plenty large enough for everyone to relax. Also, the renovations they did have turned out very well - everything is upgraded and in great working order. it is very close to the many hikes available to you and just a short drive to the town of Jackson or more importantly, the Tetons. Finally, the accommodations were very clean - a very comfortable house. highly recommend it!"

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This home is exactly as represented in the photos. It is a truly beautiful home decorated in a rustic yet modern style. All the furnishings are high quality and in top condition. Soaring wood ceilings, leather couches, oriental rugs, etc. We felt so comfortable there that we made extra time in our schedules to relax around a wood fire in the stunning and super-comfortable family room playing games (the home is stocked with them) or have sunset cocktails on the back deck listening to the adjacent gurgling stream. With two king bedrooms far from each other, it is perfect for 2 couples wanting a little privacy -- one upstairs and one downstairs at the opposite ends of the home. There is also a bedroom with bunks perfect for kids near one of the king bedrooms. Both of the king bedrooms have gas fireplaces which is also a nice touch. While we didn't cook while we were there, the kitchen is very well equipped. There are views of the tetons and of the golf course from the family room. The location is perfect as it is walkable to Teton Village but just far enough away in a much more peaceful setting. The Shooting Star community is still under construction, but the construction is far enough from the home and the completed lane on which it sits that it wasn't noticeable during our stay. I can't say enough about the home -- I would stay there again in a hearbeat. The only negative to our stay was the $300+ activity fee charged by the clubhouse which, for us, amounted to paying for almost nothing. While we had dinner there one night (very good and pretty room), we didn't otherwise get anything out of that charge other than access to the restaurant as it was too cool for the pool and we didn't golf. I think the property management company should negotiate that fee differently depending on actual use of the facilities."

"Tuckaway was a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas with extended family. The house was the perfect size for everyone to spread out. Each couple had their own room and there were bunk beds and pullout sofas for the kids. The owners provided plenty of firewood so we were able to enjoy the fireplace and the hot tub was used regularly to soak our sore muscles after cross-country skiing, snowboarding or downhill. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking delicious holiday meals and the extra fridge in the suite came in handy. The teens loved the rec room and spent hours playing pool or ping pong- which allowed the adults to relax upstairs in front of the fire. With a multi-generation group we were able to find fun things for everyone to do including sleigh rides, movies or sightseeing. Apres ski at the Mangy Moose and caroling at the Four Seasons were big hits, too. While it was amazing to be here in the winter, we hope to come back to Tuckaway at some point in the summer to take advantage of many more memorable activities."
