  • Condo near bike trail and Grand Tetons

"We traveled with 6 adults to Jackson Hole and stayed at this condo, a comparatively good value. It is small and sleeping 6 adults was crowded and the pull out wasnt very comfortable I would not recommend more than 4 adults. This was made clear by the person I rented from before rental, but we took a chance and made it work. We brought camp chairs to take advantage of the patio and ate most of our meals there. Used the grill for cooking it has a side burner so as not to heat up condo. Well stocked plenty of towels, paper products, cleaning products, passable cooking pans but enough to get a meal together, we are a family that likes to cook, brought our own chopping knife. There is a small store including liquor, within walking distance it is very expensive, go to Smiths in Jackson for your stocking up. We were out touring most of the day and it worked for us for the price and location. It is a very short 5 mile ride to Jackson Hole, and 2 Hours to Old Faithful in Yellowstone and 30 minutes to the Grand Teton National Park. There are 2 good restaurants on the road to this home within 10 minutes Calico and Q Roadhouse, they have a large lawn for children to play and outside seating for parents to observe. There is an Austrian restaurant in the complex but we did not eat there. Also a coffee shop and some other shops. This is off the fabulous bike path that you can ride to the Tetons!"

  • Mountain Luxury and Tranquility!

"We spent a week in this home and had a great time! Wilson is about 15 – 20 minutes from Jackson, and it was wonderful to get out of the hustle and bustle of town. The house itself is lovely and I want to touch on the best parts first. The deck is AMAZING. Comfortable furniture, beautiful scenery, and all the wildlife you could want. From our deck we saw moose, deer, coyote, wolves, osprey, eagles, and hawks. The hot tub is nice and big, and the lounge furniture outside is awesome. The picnic table is old, and leaves a bit to be desired, but the scenic setting makes up for that. The indoor heated pool is a great addition to the house, and kept all of us entertained. It’s a a small pool, but definitely big enough for the kids to have some fun. The master bathroom is beautiful, with heated floors, and a wonderful shower. All the furniture in the house was very nice and tasteful, and seemed to be good quality. The kitchen was great, and had high quality pots, pans and utensils. It was a treat to cook here! Now the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. The third bedroom down in the basement is not great. It is a large room, but other than the bunks, there is not one other piece of furniture. And by that I mean no closet, no chest of drawers, no dresser, no mirror, nothing on the walls. It was completely barren, and felt like an afterthought to the rest of the house. It was a challenge to have four people sleeping down there, and nothing to even unpack clothes into. In addition, this bedroom adjoins the garage and the laundry room. Not an ideal situation if you have late sleepers, or if you simply don’t want to be traipsing through someone else’s bedroom in order to do laundry or leave the house. We averted this by not parking in the garage, which was fine since we were here in summer, but in winter this would be a serious concern for me. Finally, the bathroom in the basement is shabby. Dark and dingy, and not in tone with the rest of the house at all. In conclusion, we really enjoyed our stay, and would probably stay here again, but the third bedroom situation definitely needs some improving. It is an ideal place for groups that need only 2 bedrooms. If the owners are willing, a few things could make a big difference in the basement room. If you’re headed to Jackson Hole area and want a peaceful, quite, and beautiful accommodation, this may fit the bill perfectly, especially for smaller groups."

  • Beautiful Getaway

"I have been visiting the Tetons for 10 years and using VRBO for at least the last 6 years. This is by far the best place I have found for a very reasonable price. I love the location of this condo and had no idea there were condos this far off the Moose-Wilson highway. It very much made me feel like I was out in the country all while being close to everything I needed, mainly the park! As a landscape & wildlife photographer, I am up and around early every morning. My first morning I ran into a cow & calf moose right down the road in the neighborhood. Later in my stay, I was greeted by a cow moose in the woods behind the condo. I spent over an hour photographing her while sitting in the lawn chair on the patio. The convenience of a washer and dryer allowed me to pack lighter than normal. The king size bed was so comfortable and roomy. I will most definitely book here again if given the opportunity."

  • We Can't Wait to Come Back!

"We took a big family vacation to Wyoming this summer and after MANY searches, we decided on The Retreat at Teton Pines. There were 8 in our party (me, my husband, our 2 boys -- ages 9 and 12, my parents, and my niece and nephew -- ages 8 and 10). The pictures do not do it justice. It's much prettier in person. The living area isn't huge, but we had plenty of room. The kids played outside when we were at the townhome. The kitchen was very well equiped and there was plenty of seating at the table and breakfast bar. The king beds were very comfortable! The kids all stayed in one bedroom with a queen bed and a twin/trundle. They were pretty crowded, but they didn't mind. They were so tired each evening, they all crashed at bedtime. The location was perfect! It's off the beautiful Moose Wilson Rd. and not far at all from Jackson. Teton Pines is a very pretty, peaceful area. We were very pleased with the accommodations and Alison was great to deal with. We would definitely recommend The Retreat at Teton Pines to family and friends. We hope to go back soon!"
