Awesome Get Away
"Can't say enough about David and Mary Ellen's beautiful home - so elegant and warm. Spent two relaxing weeks here and was able to really de-stress and enjoy nature at its best! The wild life was fantastic at the complex (Mama Moose and her calf; Bull Moose jogging along the street) and the Elk, Buffalo grazing during our drives to Jenny Lake, Yellowstone, etc. Tetons are so impressive, weather was gorgeous with a bit of rain for us Arizonan's who don't see much of the stuff! :) David checked in personally with us during our stay just to make sure we had everything we needed; microwave broke, but was replaced within 24 hours. We will look forward to another stay at this lovely home and recommend the home because of the space and privacy afforded with 3 bedrooms/3 separate baths - perfect!! Thanks David - You're a Class Act!!"

"We just arrived home from spending a week in Jackson, in this wonderful, charming 1930's cabin. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, as we enjoyed it so much. But that wouldn't be fair to others nor the owners :-) Didi, Brot & family were wonderful hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed, and offered suggestions on hiking, restaurants and things to see. We love to get up early to enjoy a wholesome and leisurely breakfast in the rustic main room of the cabin, or on the deck. We also looked forward to returning to our cabin each evening where we would grill fish and steak on the deck, or use the awesome antique stove in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked, you will want for nothing. The deck out back is so serene. The location is the best part. We chose to stay in Jackson which had easy access to the Tetons, Yellowstone and Idaho. It made for the perfect 'base'. Everything is only minutes away for groceries (local country store) and restaurants. We hated to leave...in fact we were having such a good time that we lost track of what day it was and almost missed our flight! If it wasn't for a well orchestrated plan, concern and generosity of our hosts, we would have. One last thing, there's wildlife to see around the cabin as well. One night we were awakened by a loud clatter outside our bedroom window. We jumped up to investigate to see a silhouette of a moose calmly walking by in the moonlight. We also saw a moose in the nearby lake early one morning :-)"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Excellent rental. 7 adults 3 grandkids, plenty of room. Awesome kitchen, quiet area, 3 moose in the yard one morning. Hope to use it again."

"This charming two bedroom condominium was the perfect choice for my wife and I and our two boys ages 14 and 12. With a bedroom upstairs for the grownups and a loft with a futon for our youngest, it allowed our oldest son to take over the downstairs room and have some space to himself. With two full bathrooms we never had to squabble over showers or other bathroom needs.
The master queen bed could use a new mattress as it is not that comfortable and in need of an upgrade. The two twin beds in the downstairs room are in much better shape and the futon is about what you'd expect from a futon.
The kitchen is stocked with enough cooking utensils and cookware to make meals for the family, as opposed to always eating out. The grocery store that is in walking distance has great food although you will pay premium prices for groceries. A better option is the Albertson's which is about 7 miles away. The dining room table seats six and the comfortable living room features a sun nook that was a popular reading spot for us in the late afternoon as the sun was going down.
The condo is located in The Aspen's; a large housing subdivision that has houses, condos, and a number of tennis courts. The grounds are accentuated by patches of grass and bisected by a small creek that provides great ambiance.
Teton Village is barely 5 minutes away and the edge of Grand Teton National Park is about 15 minutes in the car. The town of Jackson is about 10 minutes by car in the other direction, making this property one of the most centrally located in the Jackson Hole area."
