  • Spring Getaway

"What a perfect spring getaway with a panoramic view of the Grand Tetons for a family of five. My family and I were ready to decompress from our busy lives and this property provided a perfect place to relax, explore Jackson Hole, and drive into Yellowstone. After our days of exploring the local area, we were always excited to come back and start up the wood burning fireplace and watch the sunset from the deck. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a family of five. Even our teenager enjoyed this getaway! Some of our favorite restaurants located just a few minutes driving distance from the property are Hatch (great tacos), Snake River Brewing Company (excellent pizza) and Pica (great pozole and tacos). The only meal we prepared at the condo was breakfast, however, you could very well prepare lunch and dinner as the condo has all the pots and pans, utensils etc. you would need to do so. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. My family and I only wish we could've stayed longer and enjoyed this gem of a location for a few more days! We would highly recommend this property to families looking for a roomy property with close proximity to Jackson Hole. We look forward to going back in the very near future!"

  • Great Hosts, Perfect Location, Cozy Guest House

"Becky and Jayne are delightful hosts. Since they live in the adjacent cabin, they were readily available if we had questions about the unit, transportation, skiing, or restaurants. They were warm and welcoming, but not intrusive. The Burt Barn Guest House is beautiful structure and is nestled among several cabins dwarfed by a stand of trees. It made for an unforgettable view from the living room window on a snowy Christmas morning. In addition to being beautiful, the Burt Barn Guest House has great location: it is along Moose Wilson Road (Route 390) between the town of Jackson and the Grand Teton National Park, including Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Right or left from the lane, you will find adventure or food. In fact, you can even walk down the lane to find food at Calico Italian Restaurant (pizza) or Q Roadhouse and Brewing (BBQ). And, if you are too tired to venture out, cook: Burt Barn Guest House has a full kitchen. The two-bedroom house was perfect for our family of four: two adults and two teenage kids. The flat had a delightful (and effective) gas stove and wifi. Becky and Jayne have stocked the house with a full library, including local travel books, and countless board games. Our family enjoyed our evenings in the cozy living room, which was warmed by the gas stove. We thank Becky and Jayne for sharing their home and holiday with us. We hope that they will take us back for another visit. And we recommend the Burt Barn Guest House without qualification."

  • Wonderful Place!

"This was a beautiful home to stay in during our vacation. We travel to Jackson every March and this is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Town square and snow king are both close enough to walk. The view was amazing. Thank you for the hospitality."

  • Charming log cabin -- delightful owners!

"We stayed here during a snowmobiling trip with my sons and husband. While they explored the nearby trails, I enjoyed peaceful, relaxing days by the fire reading my book, crocheting, and watching giant snowflakes fall. The creek steps from the back door was picturesque. This cabin has all the amenities yet maintains the charm of a remote log cabin. The owner couldn't have been easier to work with and we enjoyed visiting with him Sunday morning. The first VRBO property we attempted to book for this trip was very rude and difficult to deal with. By contrast, the owners of this property couldn't have been nicer. We look forward to booking this property again!"
