  • Great place to relax and enjoy the country!

"Nestled in the hills just west of Dubois, WY, this was a surprisingly nice and very large place. I may have been expecting more of a 'cabin', but found a house with an open living area/kitchen/dining room, with exceptional views of the valley below. The two queen bed bedrooms on the main floor were large enough for stowing luggage and using the dressers, leaving space for walking around. The décor was nicely done for comfort. The kitchen was easy to use, although the cooking pots/skillets left a little to be desired. We used the laundry room in the lower level, but not the bedrooms with bunk beds. Although the weather was warm while we were there, the home felt tight, like it would be nice and warm in the winter. In fact, we commented that the floors did not creak at all! The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets if needed. The other beauty was looking at the sky at night with the whole galaxy in front of us, clear as a bell! It was a little over an hour's drive from there into the ranger station gate to the Grand Tetons--not bad, but that extra hour both ways took time out of our days in the parks. However, we stopped in the Dubois Chamber of Commerce to get local information and were told of some nearby drives we could take to see the scenery. The aspen trees were at their peak fall color and were beautiful! The beauty of this place is that it is right above the Wind River, which is a highlight for all the fly fishermen. My brother fished all along there for 4 days and was so happy!"

  • Great place! Beautiful area!

"We stayed at the Ritz on our trip to Jackson/Grand Teton. Our plane didn't land until 10PM. Alex, the ranch's hostess/owner, had us text her when we landed. Then, she turned on the light and made up the futon for our daughter. She texted us to make sure we found it ok in the dark. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The grounds are beautiful. There are horses, a beautiful barn, and a stream. I was worried that with other cabins on the premises it might be noisy but we never heard a peep. Slept with the windows open and enjoyed the cool mountain air. We are going to Yellowstone, but will return to Trail Creek Ranch later in the week to continue to explore Jackson/Tetons. Can't wait!"

  • Charming cabin with pond, gorgeous Teton views!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy Cabin, only 10 minutes from Jackson Hole and a short drive via the very scenic Moose/Wilson road to Grand Teton park entrance. The Moose/Wilson road is also a prime location to spot moose, elk, owls, and other wildlife. The cabin is well appointed-gorgeous kitchen with everything you need, granite countertops. Two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, master has a gorgeous tile bathroom. Views of the Tetons are amazing, as well as the view of the horses on the ranch. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the kayak and paddleboat on our own private pond in the backyard as well as the horses, chickens, cat, ducks, and dogs. There are wonderful bike paths from the house with gorgeous scenery to take in while you ride. Dan and Debbie were very attentive to our needs during our stay and gave us helpful suggestions about things to do in the area. This area is a perfect place to stay, close to so many things. The house was well equipped with many books/guides on Teton and Yellowstone, as well as a wide variety of DVD's and movies suitable for all ages. Our kids would have been content to stay at the house the entire time and not venture out/sight-see at all! We look forward to staying here again someday!"
