"Tuckaway was a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas with extended family. The house was the perfect size for everyone to spread out. Each couple had their own room and there were bunk beds and pullout sofas for the kids. The owners provided plenty of firewood so we were able to enjoy the fireplace and the hot tub was used regularly to soak our sore muscles after cross-country skiing, snowboarding or downhill. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking delicious holiday meals and the extra fridge in the suite came in handy. The teens loved the rec room and spent hours playing pool or ping pong- which allowed the adults to relax upstairs in front of the fire. With a multi-generation group we were able to find fun things for everyone to do including sleigh rides, movies or sightseeing. Apres ski at the Mangy Moose and caroling at the Four Seasons were big hits, too. While it was amazing to be here in the winter, we hope to come back to Tuckaway at some point in the summer to take advantage of many more memorable activities."

"Our family stayed at this home (18 of us counting children) in late June, and we all agreed it was perfect. We have gotten together in other locations and this home was the best so far. It is close to any activity you want to do, with a market just down the road if you forgot something in town. There was enough room for us to spread out, and the last 2 days a mother moose and her baby were in the yard. A perfect end to a perfect family vacation! I would love to return."

The location couldn't be better! The cabin is surrounded by Quakie trees, yet the roads leading to it are paved. The neighbors are relatively close, but the trees help obfuscate that fact. There's enough room to park 7 vehicles -- maybe more if your really squeeze in there. The mosquitoes were really bad (probably due to all the rain we had in the mountain-west this last May).
The cabin is huge!
On the basement level (really ground level) there is a huge sectional with a hideaway bed in the family room, a laundry room, a bathroom, and a garage with a ping-pong table.
Cabin Middle Level:
On the middle level is another large family/dining room attached to the kitchen. Plenty of seating between the chairs, couch, loveseat, and dining table chairs. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the middle level as well. The middle level bathroom had a note on it when we arrived that it was not flushing well. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. The bedrooms were plenty spacious for a few days vacation.
The kitchen had a fridge, dishwasher, double sink, and a microwave if I remember correctly. It's not the largest kitchen but it worked fine for our family.
The middle level also has 3 doors which lead to the massive wrap-around deck outside. The deck would have been far more enjoyable if not for the mosquitoes this year. The deck has a usable grill, chairs, and a picnic table.
Cabin Top Level:
The top level contains the "Master" bedroom which is also huge and has its own flatscreen TV, spacious closets, its own private half bath, and a small private deck which was really cool.
There's one other fairly large bedroom on the top level which would be great for a family with young kids who need to sleep with them. There's a shared full bathroom on the top level, and across the hall from the bathroom is a small nook for someone to sleep on a twin bed. The nook looks tiny in the pictures, but it has a real twin sized bed in it and you could probably fit another twin mattress or air-mattress on the floor next to it.
There was no air conditioning and we were there end of June and it was HOT. Luckily it had plenty of fans furnished which made sleeping tolerable for everyone. There was plenty of room between the two family rooms to put down some air-mattresses and let the teens and tweens sleep out there and have their late night talking fests without bothering the rest of us.
Would highly recommend!!!"

"This is a lovely home with lots of places for everyone to sleep. Lots of room to spread out for the entire family. This was home base for our trip to the Tetons which we made each day of our 3 day adventure in Teton Valley. It is approximately an hour from Jackson Hole Airport which was very convenient for our trip out of the Tetons. Claudia was great to deal with prior to our arrival as I had several questions which she responded to immediately. A nice home to stay at that is close to the activities but far enough away that you do not have to get caught in the tourist trap of Jackson Hole if you prefer the "quiet side of the Tetons.""
