  • GREAT place for our family reunion, don't count on Internet

"This was a wonderful place for our family reunion of 24 people. A few of the younger people slept on the deck on queen mattresses with sleeping bags, but they were content to do so. The house is well stocked, with plenty of hot water and two sets of laundry appliances. All in all we LOVED this place on a scenic golf course near some of the most beautiful country in the US. For you business people, DO NOT count on the WIFI or even cell coverage. The Verizon subscribers were fine, the ATT subscribers were not. It just doesn't work. No 3G or 4G... even Edge was too sketchy to work. If you come here, plan to put the phones and computers away for a week and just enjoy yourself. Despite that, this place gets 5 stars. Don't forget to do a raft trip down the Snake from Jackson. Mad River Rafting was who we used and it was a safe, VERY FUN hour and fifteen minutes of thrill. Trip of a lifetime."

  • Great Family Place

"We loved the location! The property is very well maintained, fully stocked, and very nice. Even though it's a condo, it has the feel of a cabin inside with a beautiful view of the mountains through three large back windows. The best part is that it is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Jackson Hole (35 minutes away). The owner is very easy to work with and promptly returned the deposit. We visited downtown Jackson Hole one afternoon (2 hours downtown was enough, at least for me) and went to the Bar J Chuck Wagon dinner and show (highly recommended). The property is conveniently located just minutes away from Alpine grocery shopping. Another day we went to Yellowstone and made the lower loop. We started early and we returned late in the evening after getting stuck in a buffalo herd on our way out of the park. Another day we went whitewater rafting through the "Big Kahuna" and "Lunch Counter". I arranged it through "Teton Whitewater" ($50/person) in Jackson Hole. It worked out very well. You can arrange to meet them at the "put in" location which is just 15 minutes from Alpine on the way to Jackson Hole. This saves hours of travel time back and forth to Jackson Hole and back and forth to the "put in" and back to Jackson Hole. Another fun activity available in Alpine is a float down the Salt River. We traveled 5 or 10 miles south of town and found some river accesses to the Salt River. Look for a couple of small brown signs that say "River Access. The first sign is called "Swimming Pool Road". Take a right turn and then the next left turn. This will put you on a paved road parallel with the river. As you travel south, you will see another access sign and a restroom building on the right. This is were you will "take out". Keep driving a couple miles until the road tees with another road down by two large pines. Take a right and cross the small bridge. The "put in" is just across the bridge. Shuttle one car back to the previous river access in order to get back to the cars at the "put in". This float takes about two hours and is very relaxing while taking in the beautiful scenery. We went down with one small raft and four "River Rat" tubes. It takes a little maneuvering in some spots, but nothing to worry about. Great for grand kids and adults (our 3 year old grandson loved it)."

  • everything you need and more

"Stayed for 5 days with 4 family members, there was plenty of space, the owners and property manager, took care of everything. The house was very comfortable and we didn't have to purchase any extra's, we had wine and beer waiting for us and the property manager brought us home baked cookies. There was a wonderful view of the mountains, also saw deer in the neighborhood. deer in the neighborhood. It was a wonderful stay."

  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"This cabin was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of our stay here in Wyoming. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you need. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing in the river on the property. We took some great day trips to Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, the Teton National Park, Murphys Lake, Intermittent Springs. The scenery in Wyoming was just breathtaking. We did a horseback riding trip with Iron Mill Ranch. Highly recommend it. It included an awesome Tbone Steak dinner afterwards that was so much fun. We did a river rafting trip with Mad River. It was such a blast! It was nice to be able to come back after a long day on the road to this wonderful peaceful cabin. Thank you so much for sharing this cabin with us. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. We had such a great time and the weather was gorgeous. I can just imagine how beautiful it must be during the winter with the snow. I will look forward to returning someday to see it in the winter months. Thanks Eric!"
