  • Closest thing to home

"We stayed 5 days at the very clean Bunkhouse while we visited Yellowstone. After we talked with Ward we decided to spend a day in Cody as well. Our stay was perfect. Ward suggested a horse trail ride at a ranch down the road for our daughter that loves horses. We had an amazing two hour ride. The mountain stream running next to the Bunkhouse is picturesque and makes the evening fire pit most enjoyable. What you don't see in the description and pictures are the surprise amenities that our hosts included in the Bunkhouse, ex. a rechargeable LED flashlight by the door to grab when you need to make a quick trip to your car in the dark (and it doubles as a nightlight), and even though there is a gas grill to use we preferred the grill over the fire pit for cooking. We highly recommend the Bunkhouse."

  • Family Favorite!

"We have stayed in this cabin several times for family vacations and absolutely LOVE it! It has a rustic and very homey feel. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to accommodate our large family. I have also visited with a group of friends just for a relaxing weekend. Whether we visit in the summer or winter, there are always outdoor activities for the kids and adults alike. The view is beautiful and the location is perfect. I highly recommend this beautiful spot! With access to a variety of outdoor activities close by, this makes the perfect spot for those looking for an adventure as well!"

  • Cozy spot for birders

"This comfortable and cozy cabin was perfect for my friends and I for a 9 day stay for birding, hiking, and relaxing. The home itself was so well stocked , I could not believe how lucky we were! We used the wood stove twice which warmed the living room/kitchen area quite well! Although each room has its own heating system. The cabin is well situated between Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks, so we visited both - The Tetons more than Yellowstone due to its closer proximity. The bedrooms were fine, the smallest one - a half bath included- had no windows , but my friend loved having the facilities so close to her bed. Fall is a beautiful time of year to be in this area. The Aspens were beginning to turn when we arrived and by the time we left were a lovely golden color! The hike around String Lake was aglow with autumn colors! It was rutting season for the Elk, so large Bull Elk were wandering everywhere challenging one another. I definitely recommend this lovely home !"
