  • Closest thing to home

"We stayed 5 days at the very clean Bunkhouse while we visited Yellowstone. After we talked with Ward we decided to spend a day in Cody as well. Our stay was perfect. Ward suggested a horse trail ride at a ranch down the road for our daughter that loves horses. We had an amazing two hour ride. The mountain stream running next to the Bunkhouse is picturesque and makes the evening fire pit most enjoyable. What you don't see in the description and pictures are the surprise amenities that our hosts included in the Bunkhouse, ex. a rechargeable LED flashlight by the door to grab when you need to make a quick trip to your car in the dark (and it doubles as a nightlight), and even though there is a gas grill to use we preferred the grill over the fire pit for cooking. We highly recommend the Bunkhouse."

  • Loved it

"a few years have gone by but looking at the pics evoked wonderful memories. I could see Aunt Jean in the kitchen talking to my mother. I fondly recall Troy Jones in that living room in front of the fireplace and the story about the rocks that adorn the face of it. The bunkhouse was our honeymoon stop and we enjoyed the sights, sounds, the river, the clean air, and the ambient history that you can sense and almost hear speaking from the hills and ground beneath your feet.. I used my daughters birthday for the date, but the owners know the actual..."

  • Tetons lovers

"We had a wonderful vacation and stay at this location. My wife, I and 11 year old son enjoyed cabin. It was the right size for us, a moose walked down the pathway several mornings. We had a fire in pit one evening. Hosts were pleasant and respected our privacy. Everything needed for an outsanding trip were supplied."

  • Winter Storm People from Wisconsin

"I'd like to thank Sue and Bill for putting us up in one of their smaller cabins when the people from Colorado were still in the house cabin for the first night that we rented. The Colorado people claimed that they were completely snowed in, I guess. They were a larger group than we were, and Hwy 80 was completely closed down. Hwy 80 was the only way for them to get back to Colorado. I know that everyone was surprised that we were able to show up that night, but we are from Wisconsin and we don't ever close our highways down. We are used to bad weather and can handle it. Even though the first night was an inconvenience in the smaller cabin, the week was wonderful. These are wonderful hosts. If you have an opportunity, go and visit this place on the beautiful Laramie River...it is gorgeous!"
