Incredible log cabin with incredible views!!!
"We had an amazing weekend retreat at The Rustic Cabin near Devil's Tower. The accommodations are luxurious! The master bedroom provided a very comfortable and restful sleep. The owners are a wonderful couple and gave us an excellent orientation to the cabin and the surrounding area. They were available if we had questions. We will definitely rent the cabin again for another weekend. The views of Devil's tower are amazing and we ended up just relaxing on the property for the entire weekend."

The location couldn't be better! The cabin is surrounded by Quakie trees, yet the roads leading to it are paved. The neighbors are relatively close, but the trees help obfuscate that fact. There's enough room to park 7 vehicles -- maybe more if your really squeeze in there. The mosquitoes were really bad (probably due to all the rain we had in the mountain-west this last May).
The cabin is huge!
On the basement level (really ground level) there is a huge sectional with a hideaway bed in the family room, a laundry room, a bathroom, and a garage with a ping-pong table.
Cabin Middle Level:
On the middle level is another large family/dining room attached to the kitchen. Plenty of seating between the chairs, couch, loveseat, and dining table chairs. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the middle level as well. The middle level bathroom had a note on it when we arrived that it was not flushing well. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. The bedrooms were plenty spacious for a few days vacation.
The kitchen had a fridge, dishwasher, double sink, and a microwave if I remember correctly. It's not the largest kitchen but it worked fine for our family.
The middle level also has 3 doors which lead to the massive wrap-around deck outside. The deck would have been far more enjoyable if not for the mosquitoes this year. The deck has a usable grill, chairs, and a picnic table.
Cabin Top Level:
The top level contains the "Master" bedroom which is also huge and has its own flatscreen TV, spacious closets, its own private half bath, and a small private deck which was really cool.
There's one other fairly large bedroom on the top level which would be great for a family with young kids who need to sleep with them. There's a shared full bathroom on the top level, and across the hall from the bathroom is a small nook for someone to sleep on a twin bed. The nook looks tiny in the pictures, but it has a real twin sized bed in it and you could probably fit another twin mattress or air-mattress on the floor next to it.
There was no air conditioning and we were there end of June and it was HOT. Luckily it had plenty of fans furnished which made sleeping tolerable for everyone. There was plenty of room between the two family rooms to put down some air-mattresses and let the teens and tweens sleep out there and have their late night talking fests without bothering the rest of us.
Would highly recommend!!!"

"My wife and I spent a glorious week staying at the beautifully restored, tastefully furnished, and well-equipped Burt Barn Guest House, while enjoying the many close-by sites of Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole area. The location offers the best of both worlds: it is a short 10 minute drive to all the services of the bustling town of Jackson, but far enough out of town so you feel like part of the countryside. We even got to enjoy seeing moose and deer from the deck and through the windows! Our delightful hosts Becky and Jayne, who live next door, provided gracious hospitality throughout our stay and generously shared their extensive knowledge of the area that includes important details about particular hiking trails, restaurants, grocery stores, birding opportunities, and road conditions. They were always available when we needed something without ever being intrusive. We look forward to seeing them again and to our next stay at the Burt Barn!"

"It was a very beautiful scenic place. It is so nice to be tucked away in the blue ridge mountains with amazing views and wildlife. The cabin was rustic but modern enough that I didn't feel like we roughing it out in the wilderness. The cabin had all the necessities of home. Great distance for sightseeing the Big Horn Mountains. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation getaway. Loved it!!!"
