"We went to Angel Fire, NM and stayed in the Soaring Eagle Lodge Ski in Ski out home and it was GREAT! We had 2 families with 9 people and had plenty of room. The house was clean with comfy beds and has a beautiful view with a nice hot tub. We had nearby restaurants/shops at the base of the mountain but opted to cook meals most nights with their accommodating kitchen. We brought/bought food and it was as if we were home. We were able to reserve/pay online and it was quick and easy but you better think ahead if you want a ski in/ski out because they go fast! The only thing that was a little difficult was the steep driveway that became muddy. You MUST have a 4x4 to go there during the winter or you won't make it up the hill. We did fine in our 4x4 trucks. There is also an uphill climb of about 50 yards before you get to the slopes but it was well worth it. Who doesn't need the exercise anyway? We had a great time and would definately recommend you rent this place..........or we just might take it again! :)"

  • Build memories and get more than you expect

"Our family was looking for a beach front home for a special Hawaiian vacation. We found it at Hawaiian Heaven and it became our Paradise. This was a three family/three generation vacation. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The home is beautiful and comfortable, better than the pictures. It's so spacious that we never felt we were crowding each other. When you open the double glass sliding doors from the living room to the lanai, you bring the tropical outdoors indoors. Everything you would want for your beach vacation is there. Dan and Shelly have made it so easy, pack light. The North Shore is a perfect place to be on Oahu. The beaches are quiet and the sand is therapeutic. The granddaughters (13 & 7) loved walking out to the beach and boggy boarding with their uncle. Waimea Valley is not far and we took the gorgeous walk to the falls. They have a great farmers market on Thursday afternoon. We snorkeled at Shark Cove, saw turtles at Turtle Beach and went to Hale'iwa four times for shaved ice at Matsumoto's. However, the standout was Jumping Rock at Waimea Bay. The two granddaughters, along with their uncle, were the first to take the jump. Eventually their mother joined in. We did take a day to visit Pearl Harbor to see what Freedom looks like. At days end, we spent most of the time on the lanai. While the girls did their homework at the outdoor bar, the adults enjoyed a cool drink and watched the sunset. Making good use of the BBQ, we spent most of our meals in the front yard listening to the surf. We did try a shrimp stand, Seven Brothers and our final night at the Turtle Bay Resort. Casual dinning but delicious, don't miss the desserts. Dan made our trip so easy. He's quick to respond to emails and even a phone call to answer questions. Thank you Dan and Shelly for sharing your home with us. When the week was over and it was time to leave, we all had tears. Hawaiian Heaven gave us more than we expected and exactly what we were looking for: time together as a family, memories to keep for a lifetime and stories we could share with each other and friends. We also had a collection of shells and sea glass, who could ask for anything more."

  • Stunning relaxing weekend on the lake!!

"My husband and I throughly enjoyed our long weekend here! Even though it rained and drizzled we relaxed, cooked out, played foosball and enjoyed fishing and hanging out with evening cocktails on both porches for different views of the lake. The house is immaculate with nice new appliances. The only complaint was our trip was too short! Can't wait to come back next summer for a week!! Thanks for sharing your lovely lake house!!"

  • Good, but not perfect

"This was our third time at Reunion Resort but first time staying at this property. Based on our previous house rentals, we were a little disappointed in this property. We enjoyed our stay but the house seemed very worn. It could use a paint job inside and a deep cleaning. The condition of the carpets was less then desirable. They really should be cleaned, or better yet, replaced. Many soiled areas throughout the home with wear in high traffic areas. Although there were plenty of bath towels, many of them were torn and tattered with bleach stains. Aside from the negative things, there was plenty of good! Rachel was extremely prompt and wonderful to deal with. She went out of her way to ensure all of the details of our trip were in place. We had purchased waterpark passes ahead of time (not knowing the weather forecast) and made a last minute change to which she was very accommodating. The house is very spacious and well laid out. The pool and spa area were wonderful and had just enough shade to escape the hot Florida sun, when needed. There was ample outdoor seating for both dining and lounging. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cutlery, but only 3 wine glasses. The house rules say no glass around the pool but there wasn't a single plastic cup or suitable item to be found. That being said, Rachel was true to her word and reimbursed me for these items that I went out and purchased. We love the location of Reunion Resort and it's proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping but still far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Disney and theme parks when you need some R and R!"
