  • Great place, well-maintained

"This fine rental allowed us to experience Oakmont as a resident would. Nothing was lacking in this clean, well-maintained rental."

  • A Great Time at Deer Crossing

"My wife and I stayed at this property last week and to put it simply - it was fantastic. The Condo has three large bedrooms with all the necessary storage one could ever need. Each Bedroom has a large TV and the whole property is well presented. The livingroom has plenty of very comfortable sofa space and a large flat-screen TV with cable TV. The vaulted ceiling gives the room a lovely airy feeling. The kitchen is again, is well presented and has plenty of crockery, tableware and appliances. The whole property is on a stunning resort. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody."

  • Cooking, dining and wine drinking in New Orleans

"My vacation could be summed up as follows: cooking, dining, wine drinking. And this house is the perfect place to do all three. Being a visitor from New York, daydreaming about a chef's kitchen is an everyday occurance, like putting on shoes. While it's easy to deal with my small-but-well-organized kitchen at home, I was very surprised by how much better my cooking tasted in this large, handy kitchen. The moment I realized I was on vacation was when I found myself laughing hysterically while preparing dinner, drinking wine, and chatting with my friends who were lounging nearby in the den. The huge, open kitchen seemed to open up our conversations and our spirits. I've been to my share of designer model homes in the DC and NYC areas, and while most of them have style, almost none of them make me feel as happy as this house. The owner has exquisite and diverse taste, both of which are reflected in the way each of the rooms is decorated. Lush fabrics paired with bold prints on the bedding, window treatments that frame the views, the subtle yet brave moments of colors and textures. Each room has a different theme or approach in the decor, and each decision reflects the owner's perspective, consideration and what must be a very heavy travel schedule. It's not often that I see a white room that's not boring or a jungle room that's not too wild. In this house, both are pulled off flawlessly. And the pink vanity with the gilded mirror in the powder room made me a believer in contemporary baroque! Did I mention that I took a lot of baths during my stay? I don't have a tub in New York so I took at least one bath a day while in New Orleans. Most of the bathrooms have gorgeous tubs and I tried them all. I should mention that, to my eye, all the bathrooms are Elle Decor-worthy. In a nutshell, the house was a vacation in itself. One minute I would feel like I'm making pancakes on the set of "Something's Gotta Give", the next I'm on the patio drinking an Old Fashioned and re-discovering that I'm in New Orleans. I enjoyed my time at this house immensely. The infectious style and the love the owner has for the house rubbed off on me and my guests. We all treasured the house like it was our own. If relaxing in style is your idea of a civilized vacation, look no further. 5 stars from this happy patron."

  • Amazing Adventure in Beaver Creek

"Our stay at the Penthouse Condo at Pines Lodge was fantastic. I think it speaks volumes about her character that although I have never met Betsy, I would absolutely consider her a friend. The online descriptions of the lodge and Beaver Creek do not do them justice! The accommodations, views, and amenities were unreal. The lodge was clean, neat, and organized and the comforts made it feel like it was an extension of our own home. The lodge was close to all the attractions and this made our stay even better and more convenient. Beaver Creek is a great town and we loved exploring every part of it. The recommendations were spot-on - we had great experiences at each of the restaurants and attractions we visited. I would whole-heartedly recommend this location to friends and family. In fact, my two teenage sons are already asking when we can return. It was a great family vacation, we made lots of memories, and I may have even had more fun than my kids!"
