  • Old farm house with personality

"Among the hum drum of hotel rooms during our fall travels it was a delight to come across this farm house. It provided us a peaceful and back to nature setting during our travels. Centrally located to covered bridges, an interesting mineral mine and a maple syrup farm. If you would like an eclectic old farm house this is for you including two wood stoves."

  • Gorgeous Log Cabin on Lake

"Our experience was great! The views of the lake were spectacular, along with a dock and boat rental a mere five minute walk down the gravel road. The home was luxurious and very accommodating. Great bedrooms, family areas, pool table and a kitchen of a home chef's dreams."

  • Quiet and Relaxing, Perfect for a Weekend out of Los Angeles.

"This Easter 3 married couples travelled from Los Angeles to get away and relax. As is was Easter Weekend we left LA around 1300 and were at the cabin by 1500, not bad for a busy holiday weekend (on the way home it only took 1.15hrs). The Cabin is rustic, homely and plenty of room for 6 people. When we arrived the cabin was rather cold as it had been unused for a few days, but within a few minutes of putting the central heating on it was warm and we were relaxing by the fire drinking some hot apple cider and spiced rum. The Kitchen has everything you need to cook a lovely meal, something we were worried about before we got there so we had taken several things like tin foil and salt and pepper, but we never needed them. The bedrooms are all very comfortable. If you are organizing the trip make sure you Shotgun the master bedroom as its 200% bigger with a couch. I could talk about this cabin a lot more as we enjoyed our stay so much. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away to a small mountain community. We will be back again later this year. There are several hikes nearby but would recommend driving to the Trail Head and not walking."

  • Close to the beach, clean condo, but bothered by noise...

"The property is located close to the beach and prom which was nice. The Northside of the Prom is for sure way quieter than the South side. The property is a remodel from a motel, so the living area is spacious but bathroom and kitchen are tiny. We felt the room was clean, but I would prefer a different type of flooring than carpet, just my personal preference. The owner, Judy, and one of the girl in the office are both nice and helpful. They gave us recommendation to dining options and offered us coupons to some restaurant in town. The only thing that really bothered us was the noise in the morning. We like to sleep in when we are on vacation, and the traffic in the parking lot starts at around 8 am with people starting their cars, opening and closing car doors, trunks, and kids running around, and we heard everything through the window. There's no AC so we had to leave the window open."
