  • A little piece of heaven

"Not sure how I stumbled on to this place, but I am glad I found it. Just a block from the beach in La Jolla, the location could not have been better. Short drive to PB and the Village. My family spent a week there, and it was heaven. 70 degrees everyday, the ocean water was like bath water, and the condo is perfect. Completely remodeled, it was spacious for a family of 4, and perfect in every way. The kitchen is great, we made several meals, and everything we needed was there. The bathrooms are very nice. And having a washer & dryer on vacation is now a requirement for our family. Parking was a breeze, never parked more than 2 houses away. I can't say enough nice things, and Sharon was awesome. This place made this our best vacation yet. We can't wait to go back!"

  • Amazing Week

"Coming back for more! This was our second trip to this home. Instead of one young child we had two now. Even with two, this home still blows us away with the conveniences, accessibility and space. The views are amazing as well! Being familiar with the area now, we really wanted this trip to be a relaxing adventure by the ocean rather then exploring the area. Most mornings were cool, but as soon as we were done with breakfast it was warm enough to go play by the ocean. We had a stretch of incredible weather and were able to swim in the ocean most of the days. We did take the kids to Wilmington one day and toured the Cotton Exchange and were able to walk the boardwalk down by the river. Another day, we were able to explore the aquarium which is a favorite for our children. The remaining days were spent fishing on the beach and making castles in the sand. It was truly an amazing getaway especially stepping away from the cold fall weather of Michigan. Going to this place is always an amazing trip for our family. Can't wait to look at coming back soon."

  • Tucson Carriage House - University of Arizona

"What a perfect place to stay if you are visiting the University of Arizona area. The beautiful carriage house has everything you need and the location couldn't be better! The Main Gate is barely 2 blocks away and those blocks are filled with restaurants, coffee shops and great stores for shopping. Such a fun place to be! The house itself is just wonderful...all the beauty of older architecture with every convenience you need! The house is filled with antiques which are beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and there are lots of extra linens and towels. Tom has some lovely oil paintings on the walls in the house which just add to the overall beauty of the house. Tom and Anne were so pleasant to work with as we arranged the stay and arrived in Tucson. Anne was very prompt and friendly in her responses and it was so nice to meet Tom on arrival. He shared a great story about building the carriage house and about the antiques, too. We'd highly recommend the Carriage House for your Tucson stay! It is a great price for a beautiful home away from home."

  • Something Fishy is Something Perfect

"The house is in a great location and poised to miss most of the incoming traffic of other vacationers. The hop, skip and a jump to the beach was a favorite for my family. The easy back and forth access eliminated a lot of the pack mule feel that happens so easily with beach going. The light, airy and overall beachy feel of the house is so relaxing just for a week of no set time to be anywhere. Deck access from most of the bedrooms gives immediate access to another living and gathering space. The kitchen is fully functional with all the necessities and amenities. The dining table is large enough for the entire house to gather around for meals or games. The owner was very attentive to our needs as a family and was eager to help with all my questions. We are looking forward to another visit next summer. Thank you"
