Fabulous location and views
"We have rented on the Cape for years and this property is now our favorite. It is located in special spot on the Cape, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Harwich Port on a large lot, with direct views of Saquatucket Harbor. We spent most of the week sitting on the patio relaxing and watching the boats. The community beach is quite pleasant with private access for the community and few people. The house comfortable, including a comfortable king bed in the master, has all necessary amenities, and harbor views from most rooms. Nancy is a gracious owner and very responsive to questions and needs. We plan to return next year."

"Greg and Mary Ruth, thank you for one of the best vacations our family has had. Your home is absolutely amazing. My wife and I literally gasped when we pulled up to the house. Everything in the home is top notch quality and it is the coziest place we've ever stayed. It's truly a home, not a rental place. We had a large group and every person raved about the beds; even the bunks and futons! We got lucky and were able to use the ski in/out short cut which was great. We made eleven new mule deer friends that ate out of our hands every day and then ate the carrot nose off of our snowman! Over the week we saw dozens of deer, twelve turkeys, an eagle, a mountain lion, and two wolves and two elk on the way home! Absolutely amazing. This home needs nothing and we couldn't be more happy with our choice! Thank you both!! We will be back!"

"We have stayed at many VRBO homes, but we have never had a more hospitable, gracious host than Warren. From the cheese and ice cream that he greeted us with upon arrival to his great advice on day trips and more, Warren was really the best. We appreciated all of his help!
Our daughters (2 and 4) loved the house, particularly the spacious outdoor area and easy access to the water. And the nearby ice cream shop didn't hurt either!
The highlight for us was walking into the state park and taking the ferry to Burton Island. It was great to be on the water and have easy access to such a beautiful island for the day.
A few drawbacks:
1. There was an upsurge of toxic blue-green algae in the lake, which prevented us from swimming for several days. We had no idea that that could potentially be a problem, so be warned.
2. The water in the house was basically undrinkable (at least for us, since we live in NYC and have delicious tap water). We ended up buying large containers of water from Hannafords to drink and use for coffee throughout the week."
