Felt like home
"We loved this place. It was exactly the right amount of isolation and still close to all the action. The beach views were exactly what we were after and easy to get to. the place was well kept and clean, and felt like Hawaii. We much preferred it to the typical "resort" feel you can find in any tropical location. Thanks!"

"We had a great vacation at Greg and Jen's condo. last weekend!! Spoke with Greg beforehand and he got right back to me on all my emails. Greg you need to take better pics of condo. because your décor is great!! A few things didn't work, TV in living room, we replaced the batteries to no avail, and fireplace, husband tried to light it but gas was off and some lights out as were the flashlights, again replaced batteries but no luck, kitchen is a little dated but bathrooms are wonderful as is bedding, even the rollaway was comfortable for kids/teens! BUT why do 4 people need 4 TV's at the ocean anyway right?!! It was not crowded, mostly condo/homeowners, parking is tight even for a small car but we did it without too much trouble. We grilled every night and sat on the beach watching the kids boogie board as the sun went down. It's walking distance to the center of Imperial Beach, tops 10 minutes. The only thing I wished was a guest book to get reviews of things, restaurants, we went to the Sea 180 Coastal Tavern at the hotel Pier South up the street on Seacoast, good food and right on beach and $$$, had good pizza from Seacoast Pizza (delivered), ate at the restaurant at the end of the pier for seafood, good food but just take out and you're eating with all the fisherman next to you, wouldn't go there again. Did not see Dolphins or Sea Lions sadly. Went to Coronado Hotel Del for lunch max. 15 minutes away, crowded, great food but very pricey. Would love a set of stairs to beach from condo. kids/husband did great on rocks, me post knee surgery opted to walk up the street for access to beach. If you're looking for a relaxing beach trip in a true beach town without the crowds or theme parks this is it!! Boys even went fishing at end of the pier and girls had nails done at Imperial Nails, everyone super nice. WE WILL BE BACK!! THANK YOU GREG!!"

"Like a previous review I would suggest adding some lighting. The main living room has such poor lighting you cannot read in that room and you also cannot see what you are doing in the kitchen area. A microwave would be a great help so you don't have to use the oven all the time. Also a toaster so you don't have to toast bread in the oven. Bath soap etc would be nice. Positives are the view , the bed and the parking."

"We already booked our stay for summer 2016! For the past 2 summers our family of five has stayed at the Morgan Park guest house. The owners of Morgan Park, Jerry and Mary Jo are meticulous in the care of the their property from the guest house to the landscaping and beach front. This CLEAN, cozy cabin is stocked with all the essentials, so there is really no need to bring much besides suits, sunscreen, beach towels and food for the week. This makes trip preparation with kids super simple. I know most parents can appreciate easy trip prep! The beds are clean and cozy (the kids love the bunk bed) and the kitchen is open and spacious.
One of the things I love is that even though this cabin does not sit on the lake front, I am able to see down to the beach and dock from the huge window in the kitchen. It makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids as the go to and from the beach.
Loon Lake is beautiful, Jerry and Mary Jo are lovely and we hope to continue to make great summer memories at Morgan Park!"
