The whole family loved this place!
"Just returned from our stay! Whole family loved it! Condo is very nice and most importantly clean! The beds including the sleeper sofa were all very comfortable. Place was tastefully decorated. Had nice granite countertops in the kitchen. Updated bathrooms. They weren't finished but were working on putting up new trim also. Has a really nice screened in porch and a large deck down below. Also has a deck off the master suite. Would recommend getting a golf cart to get around the island on. We would take the cart to Coconuts for icecream or for dinner at Rum Bay or just to explore. Kids really enjoyed that. We also rented kayaks one day from Castaways. Enjoyed looking for shark teeth or fishing in the ocean and off the docks. However you do need to bring a fishing pole. We purchased one from the local Walmart. Condo does have plenty of boogie boards, sand buckets & toys, umbrella, and beach chairs. Also has plenty of beach towels. The pool is right outside the condo but we never used it. We preferred swimming in the ocean as the water was so warm. It was great!! Looking forward to visiting again!!!!"

"We couldn't have asked for a more perfect home. The setting and view were beautiful and Sue had stocked the house with everything we needed and more. The house was so comfortable and roomy for all 6 of us. Sue was wonderful to work with, she replied in minutes to all my emails prior to arriving and was available throughout our stay if we needed her. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is seeking a relaxing vacation but also wants close proximity to the "tourist" sites. We look forward to returning in the near future."

"I can't say enough about this place. We arrived Saturday 7/11 and stayed until 7/18. On our first day in we just relaxed that evening because it took us a whole day just to travel, we did however have to go grocery shopping. The grocery store was cool, it had flat escalators that went to the second story store and I've never seen anything like it Just like Walmart and I think the prices were cheaper than New York. We flew into Cancun (because it was cheaper) and had to take a taxi to Riveria Maya to catch the ferry to find a rental car to take it to the house. We won't make that mistake again. Pay to fly into Cozumel. So Sunday was our first real day to play. The kids (5 of them) went next door and played at the Paradise Beach Club. Because it was a Sunday they didn't charge an entrance fee ($15ea to play on water toys & $3ea to use pool/chairs) so that was great. They were however required to purchase food of $10ea from the restaurant. Which is required on a regular day anyway. So the total to go to the beach club would have been $28ea. The water was merky/sludgy but they had a great time anyway. The water in front of the condo was similar but next door at the Secret's hotel the water was clear. I think it depends on the time of year. Locals were saying this isn't the best time of year due to the seaweed. On Monday we just vegged at the house and finally met Genny the housekeeper. Super nice but quiet since we didn't know Spanish very well. Loved the private rooftop pool. That was a blessing. Kids had rooftop pool parties at night and it was great because their wasn't someone at the hotel saying the pool is closed for that midnight swim. Oh and we traveled to town (About 6miles-20min from house) to this place we found on YouTube. It is directly across from the airport (3 old planes and a statue) there is a bike path for the greatest snorkling ever. Tuesday, we went to Chankanaab for dolphin swimming. That was an amazing experience (cost approx $139ea). They spent over an hour with us and did a fin and foot push ride. Great snorkling there too. Wednesday we went with Carlos (recommended by Shirl for snorkling/diving) for a snorkel trip. Wow the reefs are amazing at the South end of the island. Thursday 3 of us went on a dive trip with Carlos, that was even more amazing. Friday we spent vegging again and Saturday we had to leave. The house is amazing. All bedrooms had baths and 3 had great views. The house was great for 9."

"I've been using vrbos for the past 3-4 years, and this was the first time I was initially disappointed. We arrived and the house was a mess. There apparently was a 'mix up' with the schedule and housekeeping hadn't cleaned up after the last guest. We couldn't believe it. Sheets and pillows on the floor, trash cans and refrigerator full, and the commodes were filthy. We were finally able to reach the owners after 30 min(vrbo headquarters was worthless), and they genuinely were as shocked and disappointed as we were. They quickly called their housekeeper and she was there within minutes. The house was cleaned nicely and we were finally able to start our vacation 3 hrs later. Fortunately, they credited us one nights lodging - so that helped. We only had one other issue (master bath commode got stuck, but again, they were very apologetic and quick to remedy the situation - their handyman arrived within half an hour.
All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay, despite the initial setbacks. The owners were very nice and easy to reach and work with. We understand 'things' happen, and were just glad the owners quickly took care of the problems."
