"We love Newport Beach and this was the perfect place to spend our spring break. The teenagers, adults and children were all happy. We enjoyed the bikes and the front patio was great for keeping all our beach gear outside of the house. Since we were at the beach most of the time , having the washer and dryer was an added bonus. The house is clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners were very kind and responsive to all our questions before and after we booked. We would love to come back!"

"From the minute we walked in this place it felt like home. The brightly colored walls decorated with Mexican pottery and original artwork, a very well equipped kitchen, hot water and plenty of it ! It's a 5 minute walk to the lake ( a popular place for bird watching in the morning) and just around the corner from restaurants, shops, and the plaza which is popular in the evenings for families and ice cream. It's about a 10 minute walk to catch the bus to Chapala or Guadalajara. You can also walk to the Tues. street market. The top of the stairs is a little awkward and you have to be careful. Mexican architecture seems to put an extra step into every room. Is there an occasional rooster crowing ? dog barking ? fireworks or a strolling group of locals singing to the Virgin Mary at 5am ?? Yes ! This is Mexico. They have a passion for their culture and fiestas. A perfect choice for those who don't want a car, like to walk, and want to experience the charming village of Ajijic."

"I have been traveling to Amsterdam several times a year, for the past 10 years, to visit family and enjoy the city. I have stayed at a variety of hotels and B&B's and was so happy to discover City Calm 2 three years ago. I spent a month there this past summer and it just felt like home. I am returning for New Years this year and can't wait. Susan is fabulous and I feel like we have become friends over the course of my visits. I look forward to seeing her as much as my family. The location is perfect and the apartment has absolutely everything you could possibly need."
