2 weeks on the edge
"I stayed for 2 rainy weeks n may with my pooch. What a fantastic cottage on a high escarpment overlooking the valley. Views off both decks and all the comforts of home. 15 mins to Ridgway. Perfect. I didn't want to go home!! Only negative if you're busted up is the long flight of stairs that needs to be mentioned as you will go up and down at least 6 times a day if you have a dog that's the only way in or out!!"

We had a great time. The accommodations were perfect for our family.
"We had a great time. Check in was simple. Checkout via the Compass App was even easier. The accommodations were perfect for our family. Great view! Access to the beach and pool were outstanding. Weather was picture perfect. First day was overcast so we drove to Seaside, Water Color and San Destin. Rest of the days were in the 70’s and even touched the 80’s with plenty of sunshine. Kids wakeboarded, swam, snorkeled, played frisbee and even tried some skim boarding.
We walked to the Back Porch a couple times. Once to eat and once for happy hour. We loved the firecracker shrimp and nachos. Grouper sandwich was very good as well. We ate at Mimmo’s Italian Restaurant, Marina Café and Boshamps. All of them were outstanding. Grabbed a margarita at Margaritaville of course. We prepared several meals in the condo as well.
The girls went shopping at the outlet mall and they took the kids to Gulfarium to have a “dolphin experience”. They had a blast. My father-in-law and I took the kids fishing with Captain Preston and Captain Zach from Gulf Angler (www.gulf-angler.com). The trip was great. We caught plenty of fish in our 3 hr excursion. Their prices were perfect for what we wanted to do. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a simple trip into the gulf or backwaters for some great fishing.
Not sure if you know this or not, but there are a bunch of dolphins in the gulf outside your building. All kidding aside we had fun watching them in the morning as they swam inside the secondary break.
We had a great trip and did a ton of different things. Glad we found your listing last minute!
The condo was nice and accommodating for us. No real issues at all. Had a parking issue one day when someone grabbed the spot we were assigned to, but that was resolved quickly.

"This was by far the best home we have ever stayed in! Our group consisted of 6 people. It was plenty of space for all. The large windows, open floor plan and view of the bay was a joy. The home has everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. First, blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach toys, life jackets were just among the many things shared by the owners which means I don't have to bring a truck to make the trip!!!. Most importantly, the kitchen was well equipped including a great blender for mixing frozen drinks. The home is even more beautiful than the pics could possibly show. The decor is tastefully done without a lot of clutter and very clean, d organized and well maintained. Beautiful art work and wood floors in all the main rooms. My teen kids loved the paddle board and kayaks and used them all week! Cape Henelopen, just a minute away is great for bike riding, fishing, surf fishing, and access the the ocean. Lewes is a lovely town with unique places to shop and dine. We did a half day fishing trip from Lewes and not only caught croakers but enjoyed watching dolphins swimming with the boat. So many things to do and you don't have to travel far. A short drive will take you to the outlets, Rehobeth Boardwalk, and a water park. My husband was very impressed with the home and didn't want to leave. We've stayed in homes large and small, luxury and modest, but this was just right. We felt at home. Thank you, Ridings family. for sharing your wonderful home. Michael was very helpful and kind for helping us get in the house and his recommendations for places to eat. We enjoyed Agave very much! We highly recommend this lovely home and we will be returning next year."

"We stayed at Dan’s home in July for a week while visiting family and exploring the White Mountains. We couldn’t have had a better stay! Dan’s instructions were super easy and we had no trouble finding or getting into the house. The house was ideally tucked away and felt like a little wilderness retreat, though it was super close to all the restaurants and activities on Route 16 and an easy drive to the hiking we did in Crawford Notch State Park. The house was super clean, comfortable and provided a relaxing place to come back to after all our daily activities. We loved the front room especially, and reading and enjoying the scenery outside of the front windows was a great way to spend one of the rainy days we experienced. We also loved relaxing with a glass of wine outside by the fire pit. We will definitely be back and will recommend Dan’s place to our friends and family as well.
