Our Beach House Favorite!
"This summer was our second time in Manzanita and our 2nd stay at this lovely home. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped and has a wonderful location a very short block to the beach. Everything is well maintained.
The first time we came our daughter was 11 months old and just learning to walk. This time our son was 10 months old and just learning to walk. This home will forever hold such wonderful memories for me with my "babies". They kids absolutely love the ships berth beds! Our daughter, now 3, slept in them and they made the perfect "toddler" bed. Our 11 month old loved to crawl back and forth on them and play. We had cozy bed time stories as well.
The fireplace is great and works well. The decks are lovely. The location is perfect. Close enought to the beach and town yet quiet and restful.
The home furnishings are a little dated but clean and comfortable. To me, it added to the coziness of this home and warmth. LOVE this home and hope to come back again. Love Manzanita too."

"We spent a wonderful week on Water Island relaxing and exploring. The property was lovely and everything is within walking distance with the ferry and the beach so close by. Honeymoon beach is a wonderful spot to enjoy the sun and have lunch. Trips over to St. Thomas are easy for some sight seeing, shopping and to try out a new restaurant. The owners are very easy to contact and the home is lovely. We really enjoy our trips to Water Island and can't wait to come back soon! Great spot for a relaxing vacation in the tropics with sand, sun and beautiful views."

"We just got home from another amazing week in daytona! This condo is just like a home away from home! Wonderful heated pool right in front of the ocean, nice grills to use for cooking, nice size bedrooms, and the views are breathtaking! The weather was amazing all week! This unit is so easily accessible as well! Even has basketball and tennis courts that you can see views of the river from! Can't wait to enjoy again!!"

"My husband and I decided to go here for a second time. The first time was over a year ago just to get away. This visit was to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is a great place to use as a base to go do things or to just hang out and relax. It's located down the road from Lewey's, which makes terrific burgers. It's also not too far from Cheyenne Crossing, which makes a ridiculously good breakfast! Paddy O'Neils in Deadwood has a great menu. Our favorite is the kettle chips with ranch dressing.
The bed is more of a double and definitely not a queen. We like sleeping on a queen, so it's just a bit smaller. The cabin does not have Wi-Fi, which wasn't as big of a deal the first time we went there, but we really wish it was there this time so we could have used Netflix to watch a few movies on our iPad. I know, we were ther to unplug! We did watch one of the many available movies they had there and also purchased one to watch.
The cabin is very private. The creek running behind the cabin was high due to all of the rain we've had, which was nice to listen to while sleeping at night. This is a very peaceful and relaxing cabin. It's definitely a place to get away from it all. You feel like you are completely unplugged, but you're actually only a few minutes from town. Our next visit will include a bicycle ride down the Mickelson Trail.
We visited Devil's Tower, which was about an hour and a half drive. If you go to Devil's Tower, make sure to go to the right on the 2.8 mile trail that way you are going downhill in the sun and uphill in the shade of the trees."
