Fishing get away
"Great place to stay for fishermen. There are numerous rivers within 15-20 minutes to explore not to mention the ability to walk right out the back door and catch trout in small stream environment. The owner was great and did a lot to be sure that we were comfortable in our stay. The house was very clean and everything that you would need is right there."

"Our stay at the lovely house in Brinnon was incredible. After a beautiful
ride on the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island, we headed to Hood
Canal -- the scenery all the way there was breathtaking! Then we opened
the front door at the house and it was even better -- we were right on the
water and we were lucky enough to see an eagle fly by right off the deck --
almost welcoming us. We ate and then went down to the beach where
we built a fire in the fire pit and listened to the seals call to us as we roasted
marshmallows while enjoying a glass of wine. The next morning we enjoyed
coffee on the deck, and then went for a hike in the Olympic National Park.
On the way back we checked out a few antique stores in Quilcene and
then headed back to our heaven away from home. Our only regret was that
our visit was too short -- three days was just not enough time to do everything
there was to do. Most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Thank you so much!"

"I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is by far the most amazing place my husband and I ever stayed. The pictures really do not do this place justice. To begin with, the setting is incredible. You feel like you've stepped onto an exclusive resort. The house itself is modern, welcoming, and extremely comfortable. It feels like the cabin was built and decorated with extreme care and consideration. My husband and I basically used the property ourselves you could easily house another couple and kids.
While New Marlborough is remote, we found access to the Southfield Store and Gedney Farm gave us great "night out" options for evenings when we didn't feel like cooking.
For exploring the Berkshires we loved this spot. Great Barrington has a ton going on and the house is only a quick 20 minute drive away. Lenox, Stockbridge, and all other Berkshire attraction are only about 30 minutes away.
We looked forward to returning to this enchanting cabin after hikes and excursions. We would often enjoy a glass of wine on the porch and watch the sun set and marvel at the setting.
Everything in the house is top quality- the linens, pillows, everything. This place is a gem. We feel lucky we got a chance to stay there."

"I have been to Paris about 15 times now and still find more new things to see and share. This time, it was a family group of 5: 2 grand-parents (age 60), mom, and two grand-daughters (ages 7 and 11). We had a wonderful stay at this flat and readily recommend it to anyone with a group of 5 or less. Six could be done but would be pushing it. Those with handicaps might want to pass as there are a couple of small stairs to navigate before getting to the elevator.
The flat is situated in the best part of Paris and surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, convenience shops, boutiques and more. The building's location and ambiance really let your feel like a native—far better than staying in a hotel. It was a 5 min easy walk to the nearest Metro (Pont Marie or Cite). We took Super Shuttle from the CDG airport and had no problems at all. If you plan to arrive early in the morning, I recommend checking with Jean-Noel to see if you can arrange early check-in. That worked well for us and avoided having to find a place to dump our luggage until normal check-in time.
Jean-Noel and his representative, Myriam and Yves, were superb hosts. Very prompt to respond and easy to work with. The flat itself was in immaculate condition, with everything we needed for sleeping, cooking, etc. A 220V --> 120 V converter is provided for those with US electrical equipment. Do NOT use US hair dryers or curling irons even with the converter (we found that out the hard way) but a 220V hair dryer is provided. Internet via WIFI is easy to use and with acceptable speed. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull out sofa.
Suggested things to do that are a bit off the normal lists include the catacombs (my 7 year old loved it), a tethered balloon ride in Andre Citroen park, and getting a family photo on the Bateaux Mouche boat ride when both the Statue of Liberty and Eiffle Tower are in the shot.
We look forward to returning to Paris and this flat."
