  • Beautiful apartment on a beautiful resort

"The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable, luxurious, with all the facilities you need, including a good supply of towels and plenty of hangers! (most of hotels I go, there's never enough hangers for my mountain of clothes :-) The terrace/balcony is huge, with a couple of sunbeds, and 2x table and chairs. The views are breathtaking, absolutely beautiful, with views of the bay and one of the resort swimming pools directly below the apartment. The resort never felt crowded and you could find sunbeds either on the beach, or around the swimming pools anytime of the day. We used the Nonsuch bay restaurant on many occasions, for lunch and dinner, and on every visit we were never dissapointed with how friendly the staff were and with the high quality of the food! It's also perfect to eat in at the apartment, with a fully fitted kitchen to prepare and cook the food. Peter (the owner of the apartment) does a service to order groceries before arrival, which we took advantage of, for a small charge, or there are supermarkets within a short drive. The one we used was about 20-25 mins away. The resort have recently opened a new shop, selling essentials. We hired a car (Recommend 4x4) for the whole of our stay and managed to visit most of the Island...We loved the English Harbour area, and all the beautiful beaches around the Island. There is info and a big map in the apartment to help plan what places you would like go and recommended restaurants etc. Nonsuch bay resort have a sailing club, we had never sailed before, but we gave it a go, an instructor took us out and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It is always windy where Nonsuch bay is situated in Antigua, but we found this refreshing and kept the bugs away. The resort has a very friendly family feel (great resort kids club, the children looked like they were having a fab time!). But also great if visiting as a couple, or with friends. We highly recommend."

  • Great cottage in a lovely location and a good base from which to explore

"We had a great time in the cottage. It was lovely to be next to (and swim in) the lake and the weather was perfect - it was so easy to travel around and we enjoyed visiting the farms and vineyards in Burlington and Stowe too. Thank you very much."

  • Majestic Hideway, after spending the day in Glacier National Park

"My husband and I stayed here when his parents visited us in Emigrant, Montana from NJ. My husband & I (and his parents) traveled from our home in Emigrant, Montana to this lovely getaway home. We had a great time in Glacier and it was very nice to get up in the morning make breakfast & a picnic lunch for the day, fish a little and then head into the park for the day. Upon returning to the house in the evening, it was great to BBQ on the grill and have dinner in the house. We had long days in Glacier and it was very convenient to eat at the house rather than having to go back to the house, shower & change and then go back out to eat again. We all loved the back porch which overlooked the river and we spent evenings out there just listening to the surrounding wilderness and gazing at the stars. The house itself is very well appointed and spacious. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare all our meals..you do need to bring your own seasonings and plastic wrap, etc. We brought all of food and supplies with us, living in Montana BUT if you are not from the area an possibly flying in there is a Costco in Kalispell and there are grocery stores in the area of the house that I did see. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom had everything we needed. It was great to be able to do laundry while we were here as well. The combination living room, dining room and kitchen was very spacious and relaxing to come home to after a fun filled day.The listing description & photos were accurate and the property itself was very clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this property to small groups, families, girls getaway week and really anyone looking to get away, see Glacier National Park and enjoy this great state we live in. In addition to Glacier National Park & Fishing; I would NOT miss the Izaak Walton Inn. When our family comes to the area we love to go there for breakfast and eat out on the deck and watch the trains go by....one of America's "hidden" gems. Also, the town of Whitefish is just adorable (lots of pubs, western stores and boutiques) and if your are looking for good food, go to Jersey Boys Pizza, they are the real deal! My husband and I moved to this great state of Montana 10 years ago from NJ and we definitely miss the pizza, so we always hit this place when we are in the area. Also, this region of Montana has the best Huckleberry, we think, so indulge!!!! Lastly, the owner of this property was very personable and truly loves this area."

  • Relaxing and beautiful

"My husband is a dairy farmer and the cows dont take vacation days so getting my husband away for a night was a priority for me. This cottage was so homey and the lake was beautiful. My husband was able to destress by kayaking the lake while I enjoyed the quietness of the lake. Sue was such a great hostess and she made us feel right at home. The interior pictures does not depict the cuteness and comfort of this cottage. We loved our short stay"
