  • Destin Dreaming...

"This condo was as wonderful as pictured and then some! We love Destin and this is a very nice condo with everything you need to make you feel at home. Plus, if you need anything, it is just a short trip to stores, restaurants, and most anything else you might need or want to do. It is very welcoming and right in the middle of Destin. One of our fav places to stay thus far! Owners quick to respond to our inquiry even right in the midst of the Christmas Holidays! We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Thanks for letting us stay here :)"

  • Whole family loved this house!

"We rented this chalet for a week at the tail end of ski season (family of 5). We lucked out, as there was a ton of snow on St. Patrick's day this year! The house is about a mile from the ski resort. I walked back and forth a couple times. The roads up to the house are pretty steep. If there is snow, I would take 4-wheel drive if possible. My husband thought his BMW all-wheel-drive could handle it, but no. We got him out eventually, though ;). The owners have arranged for snow removal, so it was a nice surprise when a man with a plow and shovels came by in the afternoon to clear the driveway and walkways. From the pictures online, it's hard to tell if the layout would be convenient or not. In person, it is awesome. The fireplace area is sooo nice, and we had no trouble whatsoever getting a fire going (make sure you use DRY wood, even if you have to pick some up from the 7-11). There is a notebook in the house with directions on how to work absolutely everything, so no worries. I loved that there was a mudroom. I made my kids leave their boots in there so as not to track snow all over the house. It also kept the house warmer because you could close the door to the mudroom and not have a breeze every time someone came inside. The kitchen was on the small side, but well stocked and labeled so you didn't have to open door after door to find something. We had no trouble cooking family dinners. The dining table is a nice size. The bedrooms are spacious. The master bedroom was very comfortable. The showers have decent water pressure. Everything works as it should. The basement is a nice recreation room. The kids loved the ping-pong and darts, and of course the TV. It was great to have a selection of dvd's to choose from. The basement is finished, warm and inviting, and has its own bathroom, so it is a nice place to hang out. It was especially nice that the owners allowed us to bring our little dog. He was overjoyed to finally be able to come with us on a vacation. He was so excited to have a change of scene and be able to explore someplace new. It make it more fun for all of us to have him there. Angie the owner was very easy to work with, no trouble at all with payment and refund of deposit. She was even able to accommodate our request for a late checkout - much appreciated! By the end of the trip, my 19 yr old daughter asked if we could buy the house! Had to say no, since it's not for sale, and we are tuition-poor :(."

  • Great surprise birthday weekend!

"Renting this beautiful home was such a wonderful idea! We celebrated my friends 26th birthday and it couldn't have worked out better! There were 6 in total and we had plenty of room to spare. The kitchen and dining room area made it easy to cook and still be part of the party! There were plenty of dear in the area and they are not afraid of humans at all. Two of my friends were even able to feed them right out of their hands. We floated the horseshoe which was about 10 minutes away. We were able to get armadillo tube rentals to even pick is up an drop is back off, so no worries of drinking and driving. Clay, the owner was wonderful. I'm sure I asked him 1 millions questions and he answered never seeming to be annoyed. Lol we paid cash, which was very convenient for us and he came by the day we were leaving to pick it up. I will be planning on coming back and renting this house in the near future!!"

  • Clean condo in great location!

"We stayed from a Friday through Sunday. Condo was ready upon arrival and all as advertised. Great location on Main Street in Frisco. Easy to walk to bars and restaurants. No excessive night time noise making for a good night's sleep. Another plus, condo has its own well-lighted parking space. Kim responded to emails in timely fashion and provided key well in advance of our stay. No problems, no complaints, would definitely stay again."
