• Best beach and location

"We just rented this place for the 4th of July week and it was perfect. Its a small little beach house, but has everything you need. We were there with our 2 young daughters and then my parents joined us for 1 night as well. There was plenty of room for all us, but we were rarely there. The beach is steps away and the trolley stop to downtown is a few blocks away. We didn't need a car for anything. On the 4th of July we were able to BBQ on the patio and then walk to the beach for fireworks. The neighborhood was quiet, even on this eventful night. The house is well stocked with towels, beach toys, umbrellas, etc. We really loved this location and will be back."

  • We will return!!!

"We absolutely loved this condo. It met all of our expectations and more. Very roomy condo, well maintained. Love the balcony with lots of space to sit and look out at the ocean, pool and beautiful sunsets. Spiral staircase down to pool and beach was so convenient. We enjoyed meeting other guests staying at the condos, everyone was so friendly and nice. Very quiet area and safe, some people left their chairs, tents, umbrellas on the beach all week. We had problems getting on the internet when we first arrived but Mark from Maintenance came right away and fixed the problem. Favorite restaurants in the area, The Pub (right across the street), Guppies(our favorite) & Sloppy Joes near John's Pass. Pizza was excellent from Slyce. Plumlee was easy to work with & so was the owner."

  • Excellent Set-up

"Comfortable, spacious studio with excellent amenities and set-up. Closely located to Zion NP and other parks like Snow Canyon. Be prepared to enjoy great sunsets. We spent time at the pool every day particularly in the late afternoon until the sun dropped below the horizon. There are a few DVDs to watch and the wireless network was strong enough to use our AppleTV to get caught up on a few Netflix series when we weren't outside enjoying this special area of Utah. Located just over 2 hours from McCarron Airport. If you're coming from that direction we suggest shopping for adult bevies in Mesquite NV and food in Hurricane UT. Have fun."

  • Great multi-family house

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had two families of four staying at the Orion House and we fit perfectly. The house is situated perfectly: lagoon access on the back; and a short (1 min) walk to the gulf on the front. Additionally, the lot is on a cul de sac so traffic is minimal. We rented 4 sea kayaks so the lagoon side was perfect for boat launches. As well, we fished off of the back deck almost every evening (lots of little fish) and threw in the crab pot for fun (only 2 large crabs - but they were cool to look at).

As mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen has nearly every item you could think of (and several others that you were not thinking of). There is also a charcoal grill on the upper patio which we used almost every evening and it comes with very serviceable grilling utensils.

We had intentions of eating at local restaurants each day but found S&S Seafood (~1 mile away) to be too good to pass up. 3-4 times we picked up raw seafood (mostly shrimp) and cooked them on the grill or steamed them. S&S isn't fancy but the shrimp are amazing. Plus, drinks are a lot cheaper at home and everyone can relax and not worry about driving home. We also caught a ton of fish on a charter trip () and had mahi mahi and snapper on the grill. Unbelievable. We also went fishing at the pier several times which was great: hammerhead sharks; bull sharks; jumping sharks - and lots of fish (you can buy equipment there for what you expect to rent equipment: $50).

While we appreciated the huge TV and Direct TV, we only had it on for ~20 minutes the entire week (pleasantly). Overall, this was a great trip and everybody (ages 12-50) had a great time."
