  • Perfect for our family!

"Our family of 3 had a wonderful time on Seabrook Island, using this villa for our "home base". The property is beautifully situated, very clean, well equipped and the bonus of the sun room is a definite plus! The beach on Seabrook is incomparable, and we love to ride bikes around the island. Thank you so much for accommodating us!"

  • Absolutely perfect!

"This home was better than advertised. The pictures did it justice, and it was a beautiful, perfect place for us to spend out time in San Diego. With our large family (4 couples, lots of children) it gave a home away from home that was clean, beautifully textured and comfortable. There were yard toys for the kids (one of our 6-year-old grandsons spent hours riding in the little car in the back yard), lawn space to throw a Frisbee or football with my grandsons, nice deck to enjoy the morning or the sunset and evening, HDTV and cable to we could watch our college football game. . . We couldn't have asked for more, and at a very reasonable rate. The best was working with Kerri, who was so thoughtful and reasonable, great to do business with. Next time, we'll look for this same property! Thanks, Kerri!"

  • I Hate To Write This Review...

"...because I feel like I'm just creating more competition for myself when it comes to booking another trip to the Retreat! Seriously however, this was our second year at the Retreat and it was just as good as the first. This is still just an amazing place. You're way up the mountain, there's total privacy (I don't even think that in the winter when the leaves are gone anyone could see the Retreat), the view of the Smokey Mountains is spectacular, the house is warm and cozy with all the accouterments you could want. My biggest problem is motivating myself to want to go out and travel around. We had planned to spend one day just staying in and we choose Tuesday. Just sat on the swing on the deck and read a book all afternoon. It was great! Unfortunately we got rain on Wednesday so that was an "in" day too, but still just great to sit in front of the fire and chill out. Sandy and Ty, you have created a wonderful "Retreat" and because of your willingness to share, we can all enjoy it as well...so, THANK YOU!"

  • BEST PLACE EVER!!!

"This is truly a magnificent place! We absolutely fell in love with this cabin in the Yaak and it has now become an annual vacation for us. The property is packed with beautiful trees and is well maintained. Fishing and hunting is at your doorstep and the outdoor activities are endless. This is the cleanest most comfortable cabin we have ever stayed in. Extremely cosy and well equipped with anything you need for cooking, relaxing or staying warm. This is a Beautifully peaceful area and the best place to get off the grid. During our stay we saw dozens of deer, eagles, hawks, owls, rams, fish and much more. Wildlife is bigger than you can imagine with daily encounters. The bed is extremely comfortable, has heated blankets and couples well with the inviting decor throughout the cabin. It was refreshing to have a nice warm shower which never ran out of hot water too! There is a large porch which was perfect for kicking back, taking in the fresh air, viewing wildlife and drinking our morning cup of coffee. There's a satellite tv, great sound system and a HUGE variety of DVDs to rent. There's also an awesome fire pit directly in front of the cabin. On a clear night you can see thousands of stars miles away from the city lights. RB and Sha are genuinely friendly, EXTREMELY accommodating and will do anything to ensure you have the best stay possible. They are both very knowledgeable about the area. They know all of the great fishing holes, back roads and can recommend the best restaurants nearby. This is truly a phenomenal place to get away. There is no cell service so this is a great way for us to escape from the day to day hustle and bustle. The locals are friendly. Don't be surprised if you receive a wave from almost every car you see on the highway. If we could rate this experience on a scale from 1 to 5 we'd give it a solid 10! Already counting down the days until we return!"
