Great family vacation home for skiers with kids!!!
"My family and friends stayed here over President's weekend. There were 15 people in our group including 7 kids: ages 13, 12, 12,9,9,8,and 5. There was more than enough room for all of us and it was nice that the kids had a "wing" of the house to themselves to hang out and play. The radiant heating in the floors was also a perk and we never even felt cold when it was -4 degrees outside! We didn't rent a 4 wheel drive but wish that we had because the driveway is a little steep and slippery when covered with snow. It would have been no big deal with a different vehicle.
---The hot tub was so perfect and it felt great to just relax after a day of skiing. It was perfectly located right out the patio doors of the great room. In the entryway downstairs, there was an area to hang all of your coats and a place for you to dry your ski boots and gloves. The great room was huge and was a great place for all of us to just spend time talking about the events of the day. The home really had so many neat and carefully thought through amenities. We were really impressed and it was perfect for our family and friends. The kids and adults had a blast.
----Now on to what we learned about the mountain. We had never skied Winter Park before and here are some tips if bringing kids. The property is ski in/out. You have to walk a short distance (20 yards maybe) to ski down to the cat walk to winter park. To ski in you have to ski down the mary jane trail and you are able to ski right to the garage door if there is snow coverage on the road. Everyday we strapped our boot and skis on and headed down to WP to ski that side and only went to the Mary Jane side when wanting to go back to the house. The green runs at Winter Park are pretty flat and our kids had a hard time with them. We had to let them ski with poles for the first time because the adults got tired of waiting on them and "slinging" them with our poles. On the last day we skied, we decided to hike from the house to the Mary Jane base and just ski on that side instead of starting on the WP side. Even though that was quite a hike for a bunch of Texas folks in high altitude, it was a much better day of skiing for all of us. The kids were much less frustrated. All of our kids were intermediate skiers.
-----Overall, I would highly recommend this home. It was a wonderful experience and the owner is very hands-on. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and letting us make wonderful memories."

"We just returned from our week at North Myrtle. We've stayed in a number of condos in the North Myrtle area and this is by far the best one we've stayed in! When we arrived the condo was spotless!! It was more than enough room for the 4 of us and could very easily accommodate up to 8 people. If you want to cook in, the kitchen is well appointed with everything you'd need. The view is spectacular from the over-sized balcony! If I wasn't on the beach then I was on the balcony. Fabulous!! An advantage to this condo is that it's on the 3rd floor making it easy to use the stairs when the elevators are tied up. VRBO was great to deal with. Personalized customer service with a smile. Something you rarely see these days. I will most definitely be using them in the future!!"

"Hi Scott, my family just spent the past week in your home and we just wanted to say we had an amazing trip! The location to the village and the beach were perfect for us and our 2 young children. We were able to walk to everything as well as use the pool and playroom at the house. We will be spending two weeks Next year. Thanks for a great family vacation!

Spacious condo with excellent views and great furnishings.
"We have been coming to Maui for 15 years and this is one of the most comfortable condos we have even stayed in. The square footage is larger than most 2BR condos in Kaanapali or Kapalua. This particular condo has a great view, a combination of a golf course views, the ocean beyond and the island of Lanai in the background. The bathrooms and closets are also very spacious which explains why a large number of people residing at Masters seem to be locals living there permanently. The pool was a short walk from the condo and for the most part had only a person or two swimming there. The condo is exceptionally well outfitted in terms of kitchen equipment, utensils, spices, cloth towels, bathroom towels, beach towels, boogie boards and some snorkeling gear. This made making meals really easy. The rental of he condo does not include electricity. We ended up not using the AC at all as it is easy to get cross ventilation through the balcony doors. Working with the property rep was very easy, they were more than willing to help when we had a problem with one of the toilets. Overall a 5 star experience. Thank you."
