  • Wonderful!

"Perfect location for our first family vacation in 17 years. Our group ranged in age from 15 to 63 and we all loved our week in this location. The house is beautifully furnished and lives up to the photos. The kitchen provided plenty of room for all the family chefs to work together and the dining table accommodated all of us. Pool, hot tub and pool table were welcome alternatives to the uncrowded beach. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommended!"

  • Awesome getaway!

"Beautiful and clean little cottage with a cool staircase that was the best part. Centrally located to the awesome restaurants of downtown Blowing Rock and just minutes away from skiing and shipping at Tanger Outlets. Can't wait to go back next winter!"

  • Wintertime large family get away

"Wonderful house-very large, living room and family room to spread out in. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 4 downstairs gave us lots of options. Kitchen had everything you could want in it. Venessa was quick to respond to questions and a couple minor issues we encountered. Great views, hot tubbing in the snow was fun! 1 mile walk to Leavenworth, would book again!"

  • Too short a stay in 2 BR & 3 BR Victorian home

"We were a 3 generation family heading south from a week in Maine, wanting to spend one last night together on our way back to our homes hundreds of miles apart. The two homes (much more than apts) are beautifully restored with lots of special details: beautiful dishes, stunning wooden bookshelves, beautiful and comfortable beds. Kitchens in both houses are large and the smaller apt has a great deck. That house also has a huge jacuzzi that our granddaughters were positively ecstatic to be bathing in -- with lots in the tub along with the water jets. Marion was gracious in showing our granddaughter her greenhouse and the vegetables that were nearly ripe. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers blooming, with sparkling lights at night. Marion was responsive in answering questions, and has offered to mail me an item I inadvertently left behind. We ate a so-so brunch at Sandee's nearby -- had delicious take-out from a nearby Thai restaurant. We felt like we'd stepped back into the 1890s-early 1900s - with all of the modern conveniences. Just a delightful all too short stay."
