• Fantastic Location

"The condo was just as described on the website. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds (hard to get the kids out of them) and view from the balcony was spectacular! Nikki was wonderful to deal with. She was very responsive to my emails and gave me great suggestions on where to eat and play! All the tv channels werent working when we arrived and she had it fixed in 10 minutes. The only downside to the unit is you have to pay additional for wifi access and only two units at a time can be logged in, so kids used lots of data that week."

  • Family Vacation 2014

"Looks like this is where I need to put my 2 cents. In the house description, I suggest you tell people that the 4th bedroom is actually a mother-in-law suite around back. We spent some time looking for that 4th bedroom, and if it had been in the description it would not have panicked us!

Also, sending people emails while on vacation to tell them when garbage day is -- bad move, most people do NOT check emails while on vacation. This too should be in the packet you send the renters ... we shouldn't have to guess or in our case, be told by the gardener when garbage day is.

Also, the description says it is 5 houses from the ocean. This is untrue, it is about 7 or 8 houses form the ocean. This only matters to people like myself, who have bad knees and walking that far was an issue.

Other than that, the vacation rental home was a very nice place to stay. Very well maintained and accommodating. Was a pleasure to stay here."

  • Awesome location, neighbors were very friendly

"The family, including our dog Oreo, loved this cottage! We will be back. The house was clean & perfect size for a family of 5 and the private sandy walk into the lake was the absolute best!! The grounds had a great mix of trees and grassy areas to play soccer and football. The sandy bottom & shallow water for what seemed like 100 yards was perfect for the children to play, swim and fish along the deeper ledge in the row boat provided by the owners. We did bring our bikes and the neighborhood was perfect for the young children to ride in, but next year we will for sure do the local bike path to Mackinaw. The only wish we would have is that the cot that was offered for an additional person be replaced & the living room futon a smidge larger, definitely not a show stopper to come back :-) Thank you Sandy & Michael for sharing your "Grandma's Cottage", it was fantastic. This has already be recommended to other extended family members as well as close friends that are totally interested."

  • The Perfect Baja House

"A relaxing destination as well as a great launch pad. We used the house for a week of spear fishing with a day or two of getting our feet tangled in the hammock. It was perfect. I think the fishing speaks for itself. The house has tons of beds, bathrooms and space with a big kitchen to boot. One of the best parts of the place is the seemingly private bay which has a natural hot-spring tub, cliffs for jumping, and reefs for snorkeling. But the best part was waking up in the morning and watching the sun greet the few sailboats anchored in the bay. It was truly spectacular. I cant wait to go back"
