  • WOW - WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE!

"My wife and I met our son, daughter-in-law and grandson for a vacation and it was beyond our expectations. The house is beautiful, well maintained and everything you'll need for a wonderful stay. At the house, most of our time was spent on the lanai because of the views. Sunsets to enjoy, meals cooked on the grill, snorkling, swimming, walking, listening to music and falling asleep to the sound of ocean's waves. Great location, cool family history to this home and you can believe the pictures because it is what it is - AWESOME!"

  • Fantastic Rental

"This home is more lovely than the photos provided! It is secluded yet conveniently located near Greenville. The kitchen is well stocked and still provided plenty of space for storing your own items. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets on the large deck overlooking the lake, we planed our hikes for the following day in a comfy living room in front of the propane fireplace and took numerous photos of the deer as they played and grazed on the front and back lawns every morning and evening. It was a fantastic place with excellent support from the owner. We had a wonderful vacation and I highly recommend this place."

  • Fantastic!

"We absolutely loved Caroline's house. It's beautifully and comfortably decorated, the courtyard and terrace are charming and it feels exotic and unique. Caroline was very kind and helpful, and provided a lovely spread of wine, cheese and olives when we arrived. The little touches of lavender on the pillows etc were very welcoming. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was lovely and i can imagine the tiny plunge pool is appreciated in August. The town is very pretty. My only criticism with the whole area is that it can be hard to find the good stuff, the locals and the guide books seem to downplay the beauty of some of the most fantastic sights. So here is our list of must dos and sees. Walk up to Jimena's castle, which is great and has cool views. The river Hozgarganta is also very pretty, do the walk from the village with a picnic if it's warm. Gaucin, Casares and Castellar are not to be missed. Stunning white villages in incredible countryside! Go to old Castellar De La Frontera to see one of the oldest inhabited medieval fortresses in Europe. It is amazing! There is a lovely restaurant and the views are superb. Don't bother with the coast at Sottogrande unless you want to eat English sandwiches in a slick cafe that could be in Canary Wharf next to a beach covered in rubbish! Apparently the beach at Tarifa and Bolonia is great, we were too lazy to drive that far! We also took the train to Ronda, which was great. There is a sweet hippyish coffee shop next to Jimena station which sells local soap etc. In Jimena, our favourite place to eat was in the atmospheric terrace of Hostal Anon. Try the rabbit. The tapas place on the square is also nice and there is a cool little shop just up the street which sells great veg, cheese etc. You can also pay a few euros to Caroline's friend in the village to make you flores, little heart shaped pastry flowers drenched in honey! Delicious! We loved our week in the house and were very sorry to head back to rainy, grey London. Thanks Caroline!"

  • Family Reunion

"These two houses were exactly what we needed for our family reunion. It had all the necessary and fun items that you would want for everyone from 1 year old to 90 years old. Ping Pong, pool table, TV's and of couse the pool, we all loved it. Easy to cook and feed 26 people 3 times a day, not to mention all the snacking. Mark was great to answer all our questions and assist us in getting anything we needed. Thank you for making our family reunion a success!"
