"The house was exactly as it appeared in the photos, although I thought the kitchen/dining area was going to be a bit bigger. It still accommodated our group of 8 people just fine, with room to spare. We stayed here for my mom’s 50th birthday and it was nice to give the downstairs suite to my parents for some privacy. The views from the house were amazing. I lost a game of rock, paper, scissors to my sister and ended up having to sleep in the back bedroom without a view. The house was well stocked with utensils and dishes for cooking which was great because we made dinner on the first night.
In addition to the great amenities this house had to offer, we encountered a few cons as well. I went to put beer in the door of the fridge and noticed the shelf was broken and barely hanging on. I tried to put the beer there but it wouldn’t hold. I set the shelf aside so it wouldn’t get damaged further by people trying to put things in it. It was a small fridge to begin with so one less shelf didn’t help the situation.
We also encountered a bunch of ants in the kitchen. They were the tiny ones and were making their way from the sink to the ceiling. Kind of gross. Management said they knew about it and were spraying when the house was vacant.
The house doesn’t have much lighting – all switches are on dimmers which was cool. The lamp in the living area wasn’t working. We had to search for a light bulb…we ended up finding one and it worked fine.
We were really excited to use the fireplace! It didn’t work. We tried the switch on the wall & referred to the gray binder. The only thing we saw was the manual from when it was bought. I tried calling the number I was given with no luck. My dad ended up figuring it out. Apparently the gas valve inside the stove was in the off position.
The driveway is steep!! We didn’t have a problem because we were in taxi vans but if you had a low car you wouldn’t be able to enter. Heed their advice when they say to have 4WD/a higher vehicle.
Overall, the house was comfortable, cozy and perfect for our group."

"We brought our two kids to Maui for the first time. This island is so awesome, and this area we stayed at was tremendous. The condo suited all our needs to a Tee, and the resort provided that ideal relaxing experience that both my husband and I desperately needed. We were never without any nearby activities when we were ready to play. Honestly, I'm not sure we really needed a car in retrospect, outside of getting to the condo from the airport. Restaurants, shops, beaches, jet skiing, were all within easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"My adult siblings and I grew up in Asheville but we all now live in other states. Our mother sold the family home this year and we were looking for a place for all of us to be together over the Christmas holidays. We found this rental to be a perfect location for 7 of us. There was even a decorated Christmas tree and an electric fireplace waiting for us! The house has three distinct living areas on different floors, each with a full bathroom. The main floor has the master BR with a spectacular bathroom, bedroom TV, dining area, kitchen, 1/2 bath, and porch. The bottom floor has a BR, a comfortable sofa/bed, big TV, Bath, pool table, porch, and a laundry room. The top floor overlooks the main living area. There is a BR, bath, and an open area with the futon. The kitchen is fully equipped. I kind of wished there had been a TV in the main living area but we all piled on the master bed and watched TV together. There is wireless for computers. Don't miss the tiny steep road on the left from the main road. Parking is tight but very doable. There is a coffee shop and a bakery in Weaverville. Ingles Grocery Store is close by. Easy access to I-26 and a quick trip to Asheville. Great location, Super rental. I would consider it again!"

The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Overall our one month stay was very nice. For those of us actually living in a property like this, there were a few things that would have made it more comfortable. The lighting is not the best. Could have used a lamp behind the sofa and on both night stands. There is no light over the sink or the dining table. The kitchen sink is not divided which makes washing dishes a bit more of a challenge and there is no dishwasher. Which we didn't realize when we booked. Nicer patio chairs and a place to sit out back along with a barbecue would be nice."
